Are there any objections if I use the leftover wool from the Edgar and Rindercella blankets to make something for Blondes? I've got loads! Anyone with leftovers feel free to pm me about either sending it on or sending more squares :)

Sorry to hear that - unpicking is always dull :(

RatherBeOnThePiste · 03/06/2011 16:32

Oh Pidj - I am sorry Sad and if I was at all capable, I'd come, I really would.

KnottyLocks · 03/06/2011 16:35

Bottom burps to unpicking. Sorry to hear that Pidj. Would happliy drink coffee with you and unpick but with these 2 gorgeous handfuls that would be a shocking idea and would mess things up big time.

purplepidjin · 03/06/2011 16:55

It's just depressing undoing it when everyone's depending on me to get it done pdq. And serves me right for being a plank in the first place. Wrong sort of woolgathering!

You are not a plank.

And it doesn't have to be the Monday you said, it can easily be at a later date, we will just deliver at a different time, really no probs..

bushymcbush · 03/06/2011 17:00

I've posted a square today, in pale lilac, basket weave. Hope it makes it in time!

KnottyLocks · 03/06/2011 17:09

Pidj, there really is no rush. You are putting yourself under too much pressure here...we don't need to you rush around, really we don't. If you remember, we said the last date for posting squares was the 4th and that's tomorrow. We didn't expect you to knock up the blanket in a week!

We know how Blondes' and Rinders' blankets are getting there. The when will follow in good time.

KnottyLocks · 03/06/2011 17:10

Bushymcbush, [big fat gold star]. Have an extra one for your name too Grin

purplepidjin · 03/06/2011 17:18

Thank you. Have now managed to get another fingernail lodged back into my fast-slipping sanity Wink

Puts brake blocks on Pidjin's sanity. And grease on her ability to crochet in peace. Or WD40, or whatever.

That's two whole bottles then Grin

KnottyLocks · 03/06/2011 17:57

Oma, did the wool get to you ok?

KnottyLocks · 03/06/2011 17:59

I caused much amusement in the teeny village post office trying to ram it into the only envelope available that wasn't A3.

smokinaces · 03/06/2011 17:59

Pidj, please dont beat yourself up or run yourself ragged - its a mammoth task and none of us expect you to do it in a week. God, it took me that long to knit 2 piddly squares!!

KnottyLocks · 03/06/2011 18:01

Ah, but what wonderful squares they are though, Smokin. Smile

KnottyLocks · 03/06/2011 18:01

Pidj, you getting the mesage yet? Grin

KnottyLocks · 03/06/2011 18:02

Ooops, typing gone orf. Been trying to teach myself to crochet today. More cat poop.

purplepidjin · 03/06/2011 18:05

This is what happens when you let me out in public with no pills

Wink

Knotty, you havent seen them yet Grin

KnottyLocks · 03/06/2011 18:49

Smokin, my love, they cannot look anything like lipstick pink cat turds, can they? Case closed.

Pidj, I can chain stitch.... and I seem to have made a crochet bracelet that was supposed to be a square. Vay nice. Hmm I'm liking the hooking action. Seems to come quite naturally Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/06/2011 18:51

KnottyLocks · 03/06/2011 18:51

KnottyLocks · 03/06/2011 18:53

Excellent, another bissy bossy to add weight to the argument. Evening, Blondes.
