Are there any objections if I use the leftover wool from the Edgar and Rindercella blankets to make something for Blondes? I've got loads! Anyone with leftovers feel free to pm me about either sending it on or sending more squares :)

Hello! Well done on finishing Rinder's blanket. I shall go in search of pictures - I am sure it is gorgeous. Where would we be without you Purplepidjin?

How are you doing for squares for the other blankets? I have done two more but can carry on - the last one was very simple and only took an hour even if the one before took two weeks. I am on a roll so I might as well go with it now!

Because I am a bit lazy and it isn't instantly apparent what is happening can I aks how did the quilters and sewers get on with their quilt? Is there a picture of the finished article somewhere?

purplepidjin · 29/05/2011 22:56

Pics are mainly at www.facebook.com/mimapants in an album called Mumsnet Blankets

LOTM has had some serious health issues but is making absolutely awesome progress with an enormous task (a few lines of crochet pales into insignificance!)

RatherBeOnThePiste · 30/05/2011 09:54

Could that be a bucket of chai latte coming up??!!

Yes, bloody DD. To be fair she was with me when we got the blanket, but then she seemed to know a lot about it, silly stuff that has been said etc. Bloody cheek!

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/05/2011 09:56

sheer cheek!!!

maybe you should stalk her on fb ......

I'm in my car with Rinder's blanket and all the bits for Blondes's. Need caffeine!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 30/05/2011 11:09

I'm not collecting Rinders one just yet though am I?!

Am so confused about all the cunning plans. Lol!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 30/05/2011 11:10

My usual at sb is an americano with space for cold milk, but B's chai latte is very nice, but not technically coffee!

KnottyLocks · 30/05/2011 11:18

Chai Latte? Girls' drink.

Double double espresso with a hefty sugar kick for me, ta.

I managed to save my knitting from marauding 3 year olds. Trouble is First Born wants to have a go now: he has the attention span of a gnat like his mother.

Have a lovely meet-up, ladies. Report back Smile

RatherBeOnThePiste · 30/05/2011 11:28

Knotty - you must be buzzing after that!!
DH has just bought a nespresso thingy and that brews up some strong stuff. Blimey!

KnottyLocks · 30/05/2011 12:00

Buzzing is necessary Grin

I do like a sliceable coffee. Handsome.

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/05/2011 12:03

Omg

I have great admiration for those of you who crochet

PP is trying to show me and I have managed to do maybe 3 stiches - it's so hard

And quite Pervy as well - all this talk of shoving it through a big hole!!!!

purplepidjin · 30/05/2011 12:03

Heeheeheeheeheeheehee blondes is in a tangle

RatherBeOnThePiste · 30/05/2011 12:07

Buzzing is necessary for sure!
DH always says he likes the spoon to be able to stand up in his espressos!!
They'd make me look Confused

RatherBeOnThePiste · 30/05/2011 12:11
