Just got this email - on how to request access

Update on Stand With Maya!

This week I finished writing my seventh witness statement in this case, and we assembled the fifth bundle of evidence. My lawyers wrote their fourth opening statement, and I am preparing to be cross-examined for the third time.
I am claiming for compensation for injury to feelings, aggravated damages, lost earnings and future earnings.
The tribunal will be the same panel as before, and the hearing will be online.
If you would like to watch you should email in advance to [email protected]k_ — the email subject should be PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST - Forstater v CGDE & Ors 2200909/2019 - 21 and 22 March.

The actual aggravation included the concerted opposition to the claimant, particularly in Washington.

BC: CGD are still making comments that they did the right thing, inviting the world to think likewise, and that MF's comments made the workplace unsafe, and were contrary to their values.

nauticant · 22/03/2023 15:23

Why the aggressive conduct goes beyond simply running a case.

For example, getting evidence from Clair Quentin who had abused MF on Twitter. CQ having made untruthful comments in witness statements.

OD intervenes to correct BC's use of CQ's pronouns.

LipbalmOrKnickers · 22/03/2023 15:23

BC - interrupted by OD to say that CQ goes by 'they'.

LipbalmOrKnickers · 22/03/2023 15:24

Because of course that's what's important here. Ffs!

nauticant · 22/03/2023 15:24

In other words, objecting to MF's beliefs by using unhinged testimony. (My paraphrasing.)

TheBiologyStupid · 22/03/2023 15:25

FFS indeed, Lipbalm!

nauticant · 22/03/2023 15:26

Private whispering campaign. We provided evidence. The respondents provided no evidence to object to this.

nauticant · 22/03/2023 15:28

Look to the claim that MF harassed people at work. This is a persistent lie that you can find in CGD private messages. It keeps resurfacing. It comes from the whispering campaign, and no evidence from CGD to dispel that inference.

nauticant · 22/03/2023 15:35

BC now going through the authorities bundle to compare the circumstances of MF's case with decided cases.

nauticant · 22/03/2023 15:43

In case anyone is interested in the claimed level of damages, have a look at page 63 of the downloadable bundle.

Do you have to be in the Zoom meeting for that or is the bundle available online?

Found it on Maya’s website but the file was too large to open.

nauticant · 22/03/2023 16:04

The link was in the streamed hearing.

nauticant · 22/03/2023 16:17

OD making her reply.

nauticant · 22/03/2023 16:23

OD: we didn't call Plant or Ahmed because the issues were fully aired and then MF's side wanted to re-open these issues and by that time, with Washington etc, they just weren't available.

OD: on aggravated damages, she did an argument that although MF's beliefs were protected, it doesn't mean her tweets were. [Still wriggling on this point I see, even having lost the PC discrimination case.]

OD: CGD's statements of din doo nuffink after being done bang to rights, they were reasonable.

OD: me? aggressive? you should have seen the other bloke!

LipbalmOrKnickers · 22/03/2023 16:29

Vg nauticant. After OD said BC was aggressive towards PM who wasn't even there at the time (bad bad BC!), I was just shouting 'well why was she even here then?' I would not do well in this world.

nauticant · 22/03/2023 16:29

OD: Mark Plant's hope of MF being employed, that was just that, a hope, and it was still up to Ahmed to decide.

OD: P Mills' evidence although relevant to after the events sort of does a time travel thing where it's relevant to the time long before she joined CGD.

LipbalmOrKnickers · 22/03/2023 16:33

Interesting. OD's defence that the reason MP did not attend was due to late notice neatly shot down by BC, who said correspondence was issued 22 Nov. She has not seen that correspondence.

nauticant · 22/03/2023 16:33

Judgment reserved. 14 and 17 are deliberation dates. Judgment to be sent out after that and it won't be promptly after that because it will need to be written up.

nauticant · 22/03/2023 16:37

14 and 17 April are deliberation dates.

LoobiJee · 22/03/2023 16:47

thanks for all your summarising nauticant.

chilling19 · 22/03/2023 17:03

Ok, so now we wait. Maya, you are a star.

Thanks all for your support, and for following along the boring bits and the good bits of the last couple of days.

unwashedanddazed · 22/03/2023 17:23

No, thank you Maya!
