It was reported that she made the comment, she also admitted to using slurs about Pakistani and Chinese people (but insisted her use of the slurs was 'without malice') and she referred to gay and trans people as 'it'. That is all bigoted in my book. Perhaps not yours.

ETA: Please don't lie about my views. I have never done any such thing.

So you didn't watch the trial....

Maybe go and read the transcripts before you make yourself look any dafter.

I know quite enough to know I wouldn't want Sandie anywhere near me or my family.

And that would be your right, just like it is a woman’s right to request same sex care, as I’m sure you agree, so what DU did was heinous.

You don't know any such thing. Keep on digging though.

Making stuff up (which you've already done several times on this thread) isn't a good look.

And while there is an argument to be had over the right and wrongs of localised areas where there is a culture of casual usage of shortened terms for Pakistani and Chinese still being used (which incidentally is still an unfortunately slow to die thing local to where I live too, and I don't like it FWIW), I don't think that is proof of racism either.

And again I'm going to weigh up your lies and misrepresentations Vs over 30 years of no complaints and exemplary service along with anecdotal evidence from prior patients. You might have a different opinion to me, again that is your right. You know what they say about opinions though, they're a bit like arseholes. Everyone's got one, not everyone needs to see it.

I'm going to have to remind myself about the "it" comment, but my vague memory is that you are "misrepresenting" lying about that as well. Remember that Sandie Peggie's daughter is a lesbian too.

I'm about done with my replies to you, I don't like you very much, and I think giving you air time makes you think I'm giving your opinions legitimacy and not just rolling my eyes so hard I think I pulled something.

But I'll ask again, leveraged the rape of any women in your quest to allow men access to women and girls in a state of undress recently? You've done it twice that I've seen.

Edit for spelling.

She hasn't, but he has. She just wants to be treated with dignity and her consent respected. He just wants everyone to "accept" him as a woman.

She wasn't treated by her.

Dr Upton hasn't done anything except live and work as a trans woman. She hasn't assaulted or harmed anyone, but was driven out of this country and is still being pursued.

Sandie Pegg is a racist despised by her own colleagues.

A lot of people won't be satisfied until Dr Upton's dead. My God the hate. Where's this focus when cis male doctors sexually assault women and children, leave them in permanent pain and cause them cPTSD?

Rampant medical misogyny is literally killing women and ruining their lives, but transphobia's more important to you. That tells me everything.

I haven't - ever - advocated to "allow men access to women and girls in a state of undress". I fully support single sex spaces where appropriate so don't try that one with me.

Is it? I thought you said the biggest danger to women at the moment was caused by GC women and their refusal to allow men into female spaces. So now it’s male doctors? When did this shift come about?

You seem to have been following the case closely, so I think when you refer to SP making the comment here, you must have already known that it had been long ago dismissed as a comment made by another worker there.

You are being economical with the truth, let's say.

Questions about Dr Upton were already being asked when he registered back in April. Link to article by Women Speak Tasmania.

I don't see any difference between Theodore Upton stating under oath that he would examine a patient who had requested a female doctor and any other male doctor stating the same.

Theodore Upton is a man. His refusal to accept this makes him, by his own admission, willing to commit sexual assaults. When someone tells you what they will do, believe them.

No one has called for his death. Plenty of people have called for him to be barred from practicing medicine to assure the safety of female patients.

And once again, she's done absolutely nothing.

All the actual issues affecting women, and 'trans woman has job' remains your priority.

He’s a complete creep who doesn’t understand or care about women’s boundaries. Of course. Again. He should be struck off. He’s not fit to be a doctor.

But you do you… 🙄🙄

Yep. No, I can and I will, since you asked so nicely! Turned out it was the quickest and easiest advanced search I've ever done!

How about the one and only thread you've ever started, you know that one where you leveraged the gang rape of that poor girl at Cornell U to scold us all for not being quick enough to hear about, start a post, and condemn the men involved, and where you implied that we were too obsessed with trans identifying men (in sport) and should be more focused on the "real" threats to women.

How about that?

If not feel free to peruse your own history of posts at your leisure. I know you're "sensibly" GC and all, but IMO your real agenda does peek through a little now and then all the time.

I'd not agree with you re Sandie Peggie , but as you say, her rights to the single sex changing room shouldn't have been in doubt. That's the important bit.

Those rights apply to everyone, even if we don't like them.

Exactly. As an example, a homophobic builder falls off scaffolding and is rendered quadriplegic because the company didn’t put the right bolts in, are we seriously saying his views are more important than his injury?

So you couldn't find one post to quote where I'd advocated to "allow men access to women and girls in a state of undress"... The problem you've got is that you think there aren't other people reading this and seeing through you. You think the small number of name-changing 'super posters' are reflective of everyone. They aren't.

Well , what a surprise. Hands up who didn’t see this one coming a mile down the track. Oh, no hands, that’s everyone then. Whoever would have thought that it was even remotely possible that a woman would be able to spot a cosplaying man despite him only being a six foot tall, well muscled hockey player with a manly gait.

Sorry LisBeth , you still haven’t got all your ducks in a row. Must be so frustrating to keep hearing that old dog whistle still blowing blowing blowing…….
