There's been a spate of threads recently about things JK Rowling has shamefully failed to comment on. Wouldn't it be easier to put them all in a single thread?

I'll start.

JK Rowling has shamefully failed to comment on the Manchester City fraud scandal.

And not a word of sympathy about my hot flushes.

She hasnt made me my morning coffee. The kettle is 10m away and im going to have to walk myself.

@TransParentlyAnnoyedyou think she hires all the actors for films made for material she has written. Do you know all the other writers whose tvs/movies have had Johnny cast in? I’m gonna guess they are men so not so much of an issue for you.
You do think she should spend all day mentioning on Twitter every bad thing thats happening in the world….if she’s going to do that she needs to mention my sinusitis which has been going on for weeks first.
(even if she did you still would have an issue, if she was the most perfect person to ever live, because she won’t say people can’t change sex, which they can’t)

Oh more than seconded I should think if you’re talking about my post! Not one person has been willing to question for a single second why someone claiming her driving force is women’s safety and dignity chooses the particular things to get fired up about and invest her money in that she does. Keep the jokes flowing fast instead - you wouldn’t want to risk sitting in the discomfort for a moment, or letting a doubt creep in.

Most actual feminists I know usually choose to believe women, rather than take the ‘leave it to the justice system, which definitely always gets it right on rape or sexual assault cases’ approach.

It’s so transparent you think I’m embarrassing but have nothing to say to the ‘feminist’ upthread who suggested a women may have made up a gang rape, so she’d have to wait to see what the justice system said before she took a view (like in the UK only about 8% rapes are successfully prosecuted in America).

Lo, and had I not even readeth the full fucking thread, whenst I had not had my eyes opened to the verily sinful situation of an absence of comment from a woman on an American case that I hath not known fuckall about.
