It’s a peculiar do that we’ve seen from different posters, on various threads. It’s this ‘sensible’ or ‘reasonable’ approach that somehow manages to be worse than an extreme trans activist position.
Trans activists say TWAW. It therefore logically follows from this stance that transwomen should be included everywhere women are. I don’t agree with their first claim, therefore oppose the rest of their position.
The ‘sensible’ and ‘reasonable’ people take one of two stances.
Some say ‘TWAW’ but would exclude them from some female only spaces, which suggests they don’t really believe what they say.
Some don’t think TWAW but would still include them in some spaces designated ‘women’s’, because “reasons”. Not only are they unclear on why these ‘not women’ are included, you’ll be hard pressed to get them to be able to explain why other ‘not women’ are excluded.
Both types of the ‘sensible’ and ‘reasonable’ tend to struggle to tell you what a transwoman is (for the purposes of being included). Generally waving queries away with a hand wave and a “you know”. Both types undermine the meaning of ‘women’, and manage to suggest a system riddled with uncertainties and less coherent than anything even TRAs come up with.
