My response to cross dressing

I have seen on here some resentful remarks about crossdressing, not just from males as I would expect, but from females as well. To be fair men have had to accept women cross dressing for decades now and that is supposed to be totally OK seeing women living in jeans, leggings, shorts, sports trousers, joggers etc. Personally I grew up seeing women wearing skirts and dresses when they went out shopping, to a pub restaurant or cafe and just in ordinary everyday life. They looked great then and I always loved those clothes which is why I now prefer to dress in skirts and dresses myself. I love feeling the flowing materials (nothing sexual) and wearing the very kind of clothes that I wish today`s women would wear themselves. Give me a chiffon skirt or dress and a lovely lacey petticoat (waist slip or full slip) and I feel totally happy and more natural than ever.

It tasted like thin cured slices of cow pat

Ewww

MelOfTheRoses · 07/06/2026 19:41

Ah - women don't women properly so man has to do it better.

🤷‍♀️🙄

Beef bacon is worse than turkey bacon

Gross. You can call it bacon, but it will never taste right.

I tried recreating Burger King's mushroom double Swiss for tea by adding mushrooms to my Rustler cheeseburger. It was nice, but not a patch on the real thing. But then cheap imitations rarely do match up to the real thing.

I bloody loved the mushroom double Swiss. I've not been in a Burger King for decades though. I don't think they do them anymore.

Turkey and beef bacon? This is a thing?

Turkey bacon is big in the US. Usually served in diners offering a pretence of a Full English

I wonder if knowing at least some mumsnet posters don’t find it remotely controversial or interesting is disappointing?

He’s probably raging now at his evening wank being spoiled.

I had spaghetti bolognaise (veggie) too.

I thinned out my carrots (first thining) so i thought these skinny long carrots could be put with spaghetti it worked well.

After that my husband was so impressed with my culinary offering, that he ripped off my gingham pinny, and shagged me blind. I didn’t even have time to take my knee high socks off, and my bunches are all askew.

😂

JulesJules · 07/06/2026 20:05

Just stir fry here, but I did make a lemon drizzle cake yesterday whilst wearing jeans (sadly I don't have a gingham pinny)

We had roast dinner yesterday and we’re having the leftovers today. On a Sunday.

Why the fuck has nobody thought of this before?

Pingponghavoc · 07/06/2026 20:06

What are sports trousers?

Trousers to play golf in? Or shoot in?

Trackie bottoms, I thought. Some kind of cheap and horrible nylon. The kind you get static off of if you scrub your feet on carpet tiles.

I don't think they do. They remain my all time favourite burger.

You know what I wish you could get? Like the verbal equivalent of fucking Bromide.

I had to google Remoska. It looks like one of those things I’d use once then it has a cupboard of its own forever. Your recipe sounds like Blind Scouse though which is very nice. Hope it does the trick and you feel better soon.

Ive never had a bad meal from a remoska. We bought one about 15 years ago when our oven broke and I used it constantly til about 2016 when we had a new kitchen. I then downgraded to the smaller one. It is great for almost everything but mashed spuds are brilliant in it as they dont mush up or get too watery.

Dress how you like, when and where you like. And I hope you feel you can with confidence and are happy with where you are in life.

Just don't come Into any of our women only spaces Pre Op. Don't join a woman only sports team , And don't ever tell a woman, you know how hard it is to be a woman.....😁

Or post op thanks.

That is a bit modern day euro centric, isn’t it? Many men from yonks ago wore dress/toga like thingies. Even still, in the areas south and east of Europe, men walk around in their wrap skirts/tunic thingies. And women wear those fitted trousers under, even if they are wearing a tunic//skirt.

None of them are getting a sexual thrill from a tunic/legging. I think the issue in the west is the fact it is fetishistic and it consists of men putting on the suspenders, ‘pantyhose’, petticoat (as you refer to), fake boobies and other prosthetics. Very sexualised element to it. Indeed, when they film themselves, their sexual thrills seem to take central place. A woman wearing trousers/jeans is not doing so for a sexual thrill or to make others uncomfortable. Not even to creep anyone out, and certainly not as a fetish (which males exhibit) which has other ramifications.

And, as we are all aware now, men who have fetishes usually have more than one fetish/paraphilia. These can escalate to become very dangerous to women and children.

I used to really like the Costa wild mushroom and emmental toastie, but they stopped doing it. Sad Times.

I might have to try that

I was toasting some buckwheat flakes to make muesli earlier this evening and I noticed it was very 'floury' so I sieved the flakes and made flatbreads from the resulting buckwheat flour.
They weren't great, but it was fun.

I was actually wearing a gingham pinny - thank heavens Mr Hedgehogforshort wasn't passing by!!😱

I think it was the knee high socks and bunches that did it !!!!
