Inspired by this completely sane and not at all unhinged post by Brianna Wu about UK terfs, I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the "dreadful middle-aged women" who have pushed back on trans ideology and have continued to say "No" to middle-aged men like Brianna/John.

I'm a few years off being officially a middle-aged woman but I hope to be just as dreadful when I get there. You're all an inspiration. 🙂

Yep, I’m afraid so. Some of the paid filters are really good too! The cheaper ones often fail and reveal a person’s real face but the better ones are pretty reliable.

I've not seen many images and no videos at all, but at almost 49 he is definitely not quite young.

The existence of us Dreadful Middle-Aged Women sends chaps like Brianna into a rage. We're old enough not to care, most of us have raised children through both the toddler stage and the teenager stage so we've seen the entire range of bad behaviour before and come through it, we're sharp enough to recognise bullshit from a long way off, and we're young enough to expect to live long enough to see gender ideology going down the pan and tell the tale.

I genuinely can't reconcile I'm looking at the same person from the photo at the top of this thread compared with video off podcasts from within the last year.

Somewhere between the Senior Rail Card and the state pension. I'm in that zone now. Some of the best people I know are dreadful old women in their 70s. I aspire to be like them.

It's why the Aunt Lydia's who visit to scold us are always saying "you can't tell" - it's because they're looking at heavily filtered photos and videos

Looks like it's actually significant cosmetic surgery/sculpting. As a technique based on its own merits, he really did find a seriously impressive surgeon.

Not that the old bit is anything to object to. Quite the opposite; we all hope to have the luck to get older, and with luck wiser.

He could probably suit the ‘git’ bit straightaway, though.

Well, living on Terf Island and watching what so many of my fellow dreadful (late) middle aged women have achieved lately for our sex, really wonderful achievements, has made me feel so much better about being middle aged. I love being dreadful.

We are strong, we can achieve anything we put our minds to, and people listen.

We are a force to be reckoned with, and they know it.
