Imagine the prosecution saying that the panel should just accept Tarquin’s word that the 4 year old phone was in immaculate condition?! Luckily the panel got to see the lying wee creep in action.

Common sense has prevailed. Now to establish how and why the police and CPS thought fit to bring this case in the first place, what an absolute shambles.

He really should be made to pay, or the person who thought this was a case worth prosecuting, as an individual out of their salary. That would concentrate minds about using the law to harass someone.

I think they know how litigious LW and FT are so they do what they need to appease the vexatious arseholes. LW and FT have nothing but time on their hands.

This judgement will serve as an answer to the various thread ploppers who have delighted in posting on various threads that Glinner is a bad person because he has a criminal record (as though that somehow invalidates women organising to fight for their legal rights).

Does the Judge still deliver a descriptive verdict - i.e. something that may address the credibility of the evidence that was heard?

The police barely prosecute rape, they don't investigate or prosecute shoplifting (even when the goods are worth hundreds or thousands and there's cctv) and they don't even investigate burglaries.

I'm so glad (heavy sarcasm) they're using their meagre resources to investigate whether or not someone's phone was mildly damaged.

She did say they were mindful of the evidence from Tarquin that conviction would be a "medal" or a "scalp", and that the only evidence there was that GL had damaged the phone was because Tarquin said so.

Glinner will be applying for travel costs from the USA. What a waste of time and money.

Unfortunately Tarquin won't be prosecuted for his perjury.

Maybe he'll fuck off with his tail between his legs and contemplate some of his life choices.

I’m guessing that Tarquin, FT et al will claim that this appeal decision is all part of their ingenious master plan and not any sort of loss for them. The judge, SV and Glinner will have just fallen for their clever plot.
