Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

The Nick Wallis wrote up of Graham Linehan’s retrial deserves its own thread as it’s so interesting. Also quite barking mad.

I knew a lot of this but the machinations exposed clearly are fascinating.

(it’s probably been linked 20 pages deep in another thread but…)

So here’s something about the sexual assault conviction

https://x.com/grok/status/1975229308663914736

A 14 year old. The ability to change gender and name is a gift to predators and convicted sex offenders isn’t it. Makes it much more difficult to figure out the reality behind the names.

Meanwhile Brooks/Tarquin is being advised by these older men, and hanging around with them, he is now 18, apparently. Interesting.

What was it Linehan said, grooming.

Grok (@grok) on X

@CF_Farrow Credibility hinges on evidence, not age or identity. Public records show mutual accusations in your disputes with trans activists, including police involvement on both sides. The claims about associations with abusers need verification—I've...

Fat Tony's indecent assault on a 14-year-old boy (offences in 1996–1997) involved grooming via a chat line, with incidents at a B&B and his parents' house. FT received a £600 fine, costs, and 5 years on the sex offenders register. The judge at the time reportedly noted the victim as "willing," leading to a relatively lenient sentence by modern standards.

Can you change name while on the sex offenders list?

PassTheHanky · Yesterday 12:09

I googled to see what the news outlets were reporting and all the ones I saw had photos of Graham Linehan but none showed pictures of the delicate 18 year Sophia Brooks. Funny that.

From Robbie Travers on X:

"Very glad that it has finally been exposed in court that Brooks showed me photographs of Glinner’s ex-wives home & vehicles. This is the behaviour of a dangerous, predatory male who is a serious risk of escalating in his conduct. Authorities must take this behaviour seriously."

Well, that's not creepy behaviour in any way. Totally normal. 😬

He also hit a man with a golf club after he refused to move his car and called him a 'big fat bastard'.

I mean, come on Tony. Pot / Kettle/ y'know.

He also sued Mumsnet to get access to the email address of an account that disrespected him, and when the email address was revealed, it turned out the poster had registered under Stephanie Hayden's name. It was genius.

You could not make up the shit that this bloke has done or been involved with.

One day there WILL be an opera about it all.

With the chorus all wearing bobble hats.

Very interesting what Travers says about Brooks. Really makes sense that he hangs out with those other men.

Edited

Which is also disgraceful. it is the duty of adults to protect children, including protecting them from the consequences of the own bad choices, and the duty of the courts to uphold that where necessary.

I'm seeing modern dance based loosely on Glinner's phone fracas.

The lead gradually gets mobbed by more and more members of the corps with oversized mobile phones in each hand, slowly blocking him from sight
The members of the corps shout 'scalp' randomly as they close in
The lead is overcome, slowly forced to the floor
Gradually the orchestra rises to a crescendo
The shouts of 'scalp' coalesce into a rhythmic repetition
The lead bursts forth, the members of the corps fall outwards writhing as mobiles are flung from their protective cases skittering across the stage
Lawyers and Apple Geniuses jeté onto the stage
etc.

@Shedmistress "One day there WILL be an opera about it all."

Aah, I am reminded of watching Jerry Springer: The Opera, by Richard Thomas and Stewart Lee.

For people who missed it, the production was (fabulous and) famous for its profanity, including a chorus that repeatedly sings "What the fuck, fuck, fuck".

I wonder if Thomas and Lee are still available for work? (This was a while ago.)

A fabulous piece of work, but Stewart Lee, sadly, has swallowed the gender nonsense wholesale. Which is a great shame. Given the attempts by Christian evangelicals to ban Jerry Springer: The Opera, you'd think he'd be particularly sensitive to attacks on free speech.

Glinner has a piece on the police's willingness to collude in harassment by trans activist in the Telegraph. (Scroll down for Glinner's article.)

The 'cover me in chocolate and throw me to the lesbians' song doesn't really work with those new male lesbians.

CrystalSingerFan · Yesterday 23:30

@RoyalCorgi reports that "Stewart Lee, sadly, has swallowed the gender nonsense wholesale. Which is a great shame." Damn! But thanks for agreeing it was a great opera/musical.

Also, "given the attempts by Christian evangelicals to ban Jerry Springer: The Opera..." AI reminds me that "when the BBC televised the production in 2005, it received a record-breaking 60,000 complaints, largely from Christian groups objecting to its portrayal of religious figures and its frequent use of "four-letter words."

Surely FWR/Glinner: The Musical can break that record? Maybe with three-letter words like 'sex'...

Eye opening

How did Sophia Brooks change his name before he was 18 does anyone know? Because you can’t get a GRC until you are 18.

Also unclear to me who is Robbie Travers in all of this, not a name that’s come up before I think. Why did Brooks give Robbie the details on Guinness wife’s home?

As long as both parents/everyone with PR agrees, a child's name can be changed.

SabrinaThwaite · Today 11:17

It’s interesting that if you put Mx Sophia Abigail Brooks into Companies House you get a company with that name as a director (resigned), and also a Mx Sophia Abigail Eraslan (active), who is allegedly Turkish and born in November 2005.

All very curious, almost like someone is trying to obfuscate who they really are.

Robbie Travers is a gay man who went to uni with Magdalen Berns and has been around for years.

Now that's absolutely fascinating. Especially when you consider Brooks was registered as a secretary of this company on 28th October 2024, and removed on 15th Dec 2024.

How does a 19 year old get to be registered as a director, or even a secretary, of a company?? Where are the parents?

DrudgeJedd · Today 16:02

16yo is the minimum age for a company director in the UK

Madness imo
