National Education Union conference to debate if Supreme Court trans ruling is ‘attempted genocide’

The National Education Union (NEU) is set to discuss whether the 2025 UK Supreme Court ruling on the legal definition of a woman constitutes “attempted genocide” against transgender people.

Delegates are expected to debate the issue today (31 March) at the union’s annual conference in Brighton.

According to the Daily Mail, Britain’s largest teaching union may hear arguments that the judgment amounts to an “attempted erasure of a group from public life”, with criticism potentially directed at both the judiciary and the government.

Id much rather they stopped faffing around with stuff like this and sending a zillion emails a week and instead dealt with educational issues such as lack of funding for schools and especially for the new send reforms.

No, no man or boy is in danger from women and girls being permitted some spaces in the world apart from them. They will live. And any who seriously think they are in any danger from a woman being permitted to get her clothes off without him present needs psychological help. Women and girls are people too, they are not walking resources for special males.

Suicide is not caused by a single factor. Causation is always multifaceted and oversimplifying is harmful. I am disappointed that posts stating otherwise are allowed to stand.

Being told that the law defines the categories of ‘male’ and ‘female’ using the sex people are observed to be at birth (the outcome of FWS) should never be cited as being accountable for suicide. Claiming it is attempted genocide is equally unhinged.

TRAs who promote these hyperbolic ideas work against the people they profess to support. They wrongly promote the idea that many people hate them (wanting to exclude males with trans identities from the female category does not equal hate) and they promote the image of an extremist ideology that can’t be reasoned with. It’s not a stretch to think that many will generalise the extremist position of TRAs to those with trans identities.

The gay movement had great success through people coming out - evidencing that the only thing differentiating gay people from straight people is their sexuality. TRAs continually promote trans people as a hairs breath away from suicide or ‘eradication’ if referred to using words they don’t like.

The fail to read the room and see that their bullying tactics are increasingly ineffective in preventing challenge and opposition and that failing to pivot is accelerating the decline in support.

It really gets to some people that they can never, ever be what they most want to be.

To the sound of chirping crickets we can talk factually about the erasure of the women's movement and history from feminist libraries and women's centres; the loss of critical single sex facilities for abuse survivors.
We can post links of girls being assaulted and injured by boys in sports, in single sex facilities like toilets, and now there's this;

God some people are batshit! Pathologists’ reports set out the physical and physiological causes of death and nothing else. As someone who’s read actual pathology reports I call bullshit on the claim that any pathologist has referenced any sort of bullying in their report.
