Well done to you and your daughter. I've been following along from the start and it quickly became apparent they were deflecting, obscufurating and delaying because they didn't have a leg to stand on under safeguarding rules.

I am going to be fascinated to see what their defence is, now they are being forced to answer direct questions in court. However, I suspect they will fold at the last minute after wasting everyone's time and money.

I wish you didn't have to do this. But please thank your daughter for her strength and yourself for your tenacity.

In case the Council decide to go down fighting, I take it your daughter is aware of JKR’s fighting fund? It says it’s open to women so not sure if would support under 18s but probably worth her asking the question

15 year old girls can understand it's wrong to have to share changing rooms and toilets with boys. It's not that complex.

@SJaneS not only is what you have said false but it contains an implicit and vicious threat against the OP and his daughter, of whom you know nothing, other than they hold factual and legally sound opinions and wish to exercise the daughter’s perfectly well justified right to privacy, dignity and above all safety.

To imply that a teenage girl knows nothing about life, and has no right to any space away from the male gaze.

@SingleSexSpacesInSchools has, from the very start, behaved with compassion to the male, gender questioning children that his daughter has been forced to strip in front of.

The press release even makes this clear, that individual changing spaces and toilets should be provided for those who feel that cannot change in the spaces intended for their birth sex.

Although it’s more than weird that you think her unable to understand basic biology and Article 8 rights to bodily autonomy, yet simultaneously able to understand the lifelong consequences of cross sex hormones (chemical castration) and surgery (sterilisation).

Odd you can’t see the holes in your own argument. It’s almost as though you are driven by a powerful ideology rather than using your critical faculties?

Sexual assaults and rapes are a real problem in our schools. Allowing any male access to where females are undressing clearly exacerbated this. Your gaslighting does not work anymore. Males are a threat to females. The stats are clear.

Fwiw, it's not complex to understand the motivation of those who insist that girls must undress in front of random males. It's the same motivation that predators the world over use - insisting that girls have no rights, no agency and no privacy if their undressed bodies are required to validate or to be used by men.

Teengarers might not understand the full complexity but girls know they don’t want to share intimate spaces with boys. Many are coming home from school having not used the toilets all day and are getting UTIs.

And as others have pointed out you’ll agree that teenagers can’t consent to puberty blockers and sterilisation then?
