“My removal from the international women’s day event by the police.

I had been asking women’s organisations whether their services were for women only. This caused alarm and distress and the venue, claimed to be privately owned when it’s owned by the council, asked me to leave for asking questions.

I have footage of every interaction that I will upload later so you can see what those questions were and you can judge for yourself.”

Did anyone say that they would happily talk to her but didn't want to be filmed?

Or did they just call the cops?

Walkden · 07/03/2026 10:25

"Did anyone say that they would happily talk to her but didn't want to be filmed?"

Well she filmed "every interaction" so what they wanted didn't matter apparently....

"Why should a person not want to explain the policies of the group or organisation they support on camera"

Yes because no one has ever been sidelined in their position / been subject to discrimination / fired from their role or has to go to tribunals or court due to their views on "inclusiveness"....

Sorry? For explaining the policies of the organisation that they are representing at that time?

Why would the person be subject to any legal action if they are accurately explaining that policy?

Why would their work/support group take them to court or tribunal for enthusiastically speaking about the policies they espouse?

Ah x POSTED with @Helleofabore
(edited from spellchecks closeted! 😳)

I did question why we were ‘closeted’… 😁

If you are trans and you also believe in the God of the bible then yeah, you also have to believe God hates you! Why would someone be offended by having that pointed out?

You may think it's morally ok to have gender fluidity - fine. You can think that trans rights are human rights, and/or you can acknowledge issues about equity and access to rights in a currently patriarchal society. Or you can think the Christian view is correct, and men and women should behave according to the 2k year old book, with the guy who is the epitome of patriarchy, on pain of God's displeasure.

It is logically impossible to think both.

Imnobody4 · 07/03/2026 10:39

Oh dear! I almost feel sorry for the poor bloke. The Assistant PCC is a disgrace.

The assistant PCC won’t speak to me and her comms officer can’t string a sentence together.

sheesh what a bloody wallflower - did she have the temerity to call him a man!

What?

No Christian has to think God hates them, even the most horrific criminal. That's actually the opposite of what Christianity teaches.

So no, not illogical on that account anyway.

Personally, I've no time for Posie Parker or for those who support her and I'm pleased to hear that Nottingham police took this stance.
This is not about silencing women, however much some people - including Paker herself - would like to believe it is; it's about the removal of a deeply repugnant figure who uses her platform to spread hate-speech.

Parker is infamous for her aggressive right-wing stance, her repeated praise of far-right figures such as Stephen Yaxley-Lennon (Tommy Robinson), and her ties to white supremacy groups and ideologies (she has repeatedly written for right-wing publications such as The Spectator, is on friendly terms with neo-Nazi and holocaust denier Hans Jørgen Lysglimt Johansen, was interviewed by the far-right network Soldiers of Christ Online, and used a Barbie doll wearing a Nazi uniform as her profile picture on the social media site Spinster).
And those are just a tiny handful of examples; a full breakdown of her associations to the far-right would require an entire thread. Probably several.

Where anti-trans and women's rights are concerned, she's no less controversial.

Jean Hatchet, a genuine GC advocate and activist, cut all ties with Parker over her neo-facist affiliations.

Her hostile behaviour is so bad that Woman's Place UK - itself a group opposed to gender self-identification for trans people - had to cut links to Parker citing "her stated views on race and religion" as the reason.
Under pressure, that same group had to reiterate their continued distance from her in 2022 when they supplied evidence of her racist social media posts as continued justifcation for their position.

And let us not forget the overwhelming global opposition to the hate she spreads. After her Australian rally was attended by a large number of neo-Nazis (and not just ideologically; actual Nazi saluting neo-Nazis), her subsequent attempt to hold rallies in New Zealand was met with such opposition that Parker - rightly in my view - was compelled to leave the country.

So, in summation, I repeat that we should be very careful tying ourselves to figures like this simply because one aspect of what they're saying aligns with our personal beliefs.
She is not a champion of women's rights. She is a hate-filled, neo-Nazi sympathising, racist who feeds off controversy and then cries foul when society in general says "No, we are not going to accept you in our community".

lol.

... and yet, and yet, men still aren't allowed in women spaces

It's a successful formula which will never go away.

If you are saying you're protecting women, empowering women, supporting women, you have to bloody define what one is and actually protect them, not throw them out for asking.

You're never not going to look like a complete twat, unless you figure that out and grow a spine.

Having watched some of the footage, it does seem that there is a determined inability to define women by the very people who say they are there to protect women. It has a chilling effect.

God might not "hate" any believers or indeed non believers but if any humans do things he doesnt like, like wearing the clothes of the opposite sex or not praising and honouring him all the time, he will condemn them to punishment in the shape of not allowing them eternal life. "Hate" might not be the right word but you're dancing on the head of a pin here.

God, as described in the Christian religion and its various sects, is not a cool guy who likes everyone, he punishes and disapproves of lots of people and lots of behaviorus. Jesus might be more loving to some extent, but he's also ok with slave owning and various other things, and anyway he is part of God according to the doctrine of the Trinity, so they are both accountable.

I still can't see why a trans person would not be offended by the Christian religion which doesn't really accept them nor want them as a member. And at the same time get offended by other humans in a different group (gender critical women) saying something similar. And even more egregiously getting annoyed that a gender critical woman points out the harsh standards displayed by God as described in the Christian religious texts.

Pro women is not anti trans, nor being pro women a far right movement. Do keep up.

"What is the fucking point of any of this?"

KJK straight to the heart of the matter as always🎯All this 'pro-women' stuff is completely performative. A few scraps from the table to keep women quiet. As soon as the blokes want something, women get sold out without a moment's hesitation.

But did anyone actually request that she stop? So that they could speak to her?

Datun · 07/03/2026 12:01

They've got no-one to blame them but themselves.

The assistant police commissioner saying it's nothing to do with me, I'll hand you over to the comms officer, who immediately says I can't answer that it's a police issue.

Utterly falling over themselves to compete for the Beclowning Award.

All KJK has to do is stand there and be normal.

Helleofabore · 07/03/2026 12:23

If the PCC team or police officers cannot reassure women that they are protected in meeting together or in seeking police assistance in maintaining female single sex provisions on IWD, they really are not fit for purpose.

That the PCC team and the police officers cannot provide a reasonable answer to questions about this is a significant issue. They know this is an issue that needs women to be assured. This really does fit the remit for IWD and these teams have failed.

BunfightBetty · 07/03/2026 12:24

JumpingPumpkin · 07/03/2026 09:22

It's absolutely crazy, isn't it?
The question could have been easily answered with "yes, we're a women's organisation only" or "well we also work with men in xyz circumstances".
The fact they can't answer without getting upset is ridiculous.

Exactly. It’s absolutely telling that this was the reaction.

Doesn’t matter who asked the question, it’s the response that is the issue, especially the response from the police.

So do I. What a shame so many of the transgender community and their supporters don't use them.

IF she did as you say then I'm sorry but I think you'll find that she deals with more than her fair share of abuse so I'd like to hear her side of the conversation too.

What on earth is the point of the police employing a Communications Officer who fields questions by saying he's not there to speak on behalf of the police? I mean seriously? Is this what our taxes are paying for?

What type of event was this and in what capacity was your friend there?
