Well, this is disappointing.

Rowling,’ she says. ‘The bar is pretty high for how evil you have to be, but I don’t want to let a single person down.’ I ask if she’s a TERF. ‘No, I’m extremely the opposite of everything she believes,’ she replies.”

Well, too late, she let me down. “Extremely the opposite of everything she believes,” huh? I guess Rachel Reid thinks teenage girls should be forced to undress after PE in front of naked male classmates who gawp as their dicks get hard. Or that female inmates should be locked in cells with male inmates serving time for serial rape.

I don’t expect Reid to agree with Rowling on trans issues. It’s the monstering of Rowling that I take issue with - the “evil,” and the framing of Rowling as so extreme that Reid feels the need to be extremely the opposite of everything she believes.

If men who think they are women, were actual women, they wouldn’t need to spam thread after thread trying to convince everyone that they are women.

Other than friends from my childhood and school, family, and incidental medical persons, no one has any knowledge of my transition as a teen.

Woman and man are social constructs. They are based on sex, however they fail to accurately translate the relationship 100% of the time. Gender queer people, non binary people and trans people understand this at the cellular level. Life is full of messiness. I'm sorry this confuses you to no end.

The UK and US effort to legislate complete social adherence to sex will fail and it will harm more non trans women and men than trans women and men. The US Christian conservatives are already declaring victory against 'the trans' and are publicly focusing on reverting reproductive freedoms and promoting the repeal of laws granting rights to women. Everything is connected.

I'm sorry that you believe I am here to convince you that I am a woman.

I've been called a man here since I wrote about my transition. There's no admitting for your beliefs, just acknowledging that you are socially challeneged in that respect.

All language is a social construct.

However, whatever the word for a mature female human with a body formed around the production of large gametes, that word’s definition will exclude all male people. There is no messiness that makes you a female person. I am sorry that this confuses you to no end.

That is the sex realist definition. The rest of the english speaking world shares several other definitions.

The hopping on one foot while reciting sex realist incantations thing is really what makes everyone else squint and spectate as though a Freeman on the Land was listing reasons why laws and legal fictions do not apply to them.

And yet, we now have two UK court judgements that provide clarity that when the EA2010 refers to women, it refers to the definition that I provided. That is what I and many others on these thread keep pointing out.

It has been asked in different ways for the past month. It is like the inherent contradiction being told at almost the first post that being trans has little impact on a poster’s life, while every single day they are a male person making sure everyone treats them as if they are female and showing us all the mental twists and contortions they go through to justify using female language for themselves as a male. And how they must dismiss, disparage, demean, and demonise any female person who doesn’t believe those twists and contortions so the facts those female people point to can be dismissed.
