Sadly, he probably did his best. Just, you know...

It's true - sad times. It's also true that no matter how much you really really want to be a woman, it's simply not enough to gurn, sing off-key and jump about. If you're going to insert your male privilege into a female space, at least have the decency not to cock up the role.

Indeed, @SirChenjins. Would an actual woman - the boring, non-stunning biological female sort - have been cast in the role if this was the best she could do? I highly doubt it.

Not a chance she would have landed the role - but the abject failings of a second (third?) rate male playing the same role can be overlooked, it seems.

Not a man, also never called you dumb or that you can't understand this.

I have however criticised you for going OTT about a casting for a musical. I thought you valued different opinions?

You literally said: "It's literally a musical it's not that big of a deal omg".

You consider your values and discernment to be superior to mine. You consider that you have better insight into what is important than I do.

If you don't understand how that comes across when a man says it to a woman that is your problem.

Oh, and I do not follow neo-sexist Genderist beliefs so I use sex based language. By my beliefs, by my values, you are a man.

So if you consider that offensive, please recognise that I find men believing that "woman" means a type of mind just as offensive. Perhaps more so, given the undeniable history of oppression women expereinced and still experiece under the name "woman" because of our biological sex, and in part because those very beliefs about a certain type of mind that you wish to impose upon us being unfairly tied to the inescapble reality of our biological sex.

The comments are interesting. People who are pro trans don’t like this. https://x.com/miriamr458128/status/2024171660509598195?s=46

remmeber, this eejit was invited to the Whitehouse, I’ve never really understood why. He was new to pretending to be a woman, plenty of others had done political advocacy for TRAs and weren’t invited for a scone with Biden.

he must be very well connected. Anyone know how much he’s worth now?

From previous press coverage, I seem to remember that his family are wealthy Californians who have historically supported the Republican party.

I guess trans activists don't like him because his whole schtick is based on taking the piss. I actually found some of the early stuff mildly amusing. But it's a one note joke.
