I've had a look at ticket prices. This Friday evening a seat in the front stalls will set you back the thick end of 180 dollars, and even the nosebleeds are 100 bucks and some change.

Fools, money... Though there are still a fair few tickets left, should you feel like going this Friday.

Saw this earlier on tiktok. Comments divided about equally between 'beeekiiind it's her first show' and people pointing out, with some asperity, that those paying Broadway prices are entitled to Broadway-standard performances. Not this feeble, tuneless twat prancing about awkwardly.

I mean, AB in Six is, as previously pointed out, an annoyingly vapid characterisation and he still managed to undersell her.

Wonder how long he'll last? And will he blame exhaustion or all the 'hate'?

It’s truly awful. I’ve seen Six many times including on Broadway.
From the videos I’ve seen he just isn’t up to scratch and the performance certainly isn’t to the standard you’d expect.

I would have been very disappointed and felt short changed if that’s what I’d paid for.

He'll quote a mixture of both for his early departure. Just a few seconds of the "Don't lose your head" audio felt like I was listening to drunken karaoke.

To be fair to Dylan (not that he deserves it!), he was in a professional touring production of Book of Mormon years ago. That isn’t an easy show so he must have some musical theatre talent.

But yeah, his Anne Boleyn isn’t even so bad it’s good. It’s just drunk hen night kareoke.

Yeah, he’s rubbish, bouncing around like a toddler on wobbly eggs and singing falsetto (badly).

There’s a clip of him with Toby Marlowe squealing at each other and claiming ‘it’s Tran Boleyn, it’s 2026 daaaahlings’.

Grim.

The women sharing the stage with him must have growing resentment that the overall quality of the show they are presenting is being diminished by his poor ability, and that’s the focus. They are a sideshow to the Mulvaney Clown Show. I wonder if any of them will wake up and walk.

As in so many areas, man does woman-coded thing much worse than women, gets plaudits. Woman does man-coded thing at least as well as men, gets criticised. Or ignored.

The Six subreddit said the show had almost gone bust and suggested the 'stunt casting'was one way to drum up additional publicity.

It's literally a musical it's not that big of a deal omg. Hating a trans woman existing in musical theatre just cus she's trans is a bit pathetic tbh.

Yeah Anne Boleyn wasn't trans, she also wasn't signing musical numbers with the other 5 wives and didn't wear a sparkly green dress.
