Spotted on the Guardian today:

Raising money for the kimono-clad fox-killer's "Good" Law Project.

Definitely one to avoid!

Sugababes, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Wolf Alice and more to play all-star charity concert for trans rights

Organised by Olly Alexander and the Mighty Hoopla festival to ‘fight back against the politics of fear and exclusion’, Trans Mission will take place at Wembley Arena in March

The audience was largely cis women & gay men with a small proportion of trans folk

How do you know?

😂

No-one has mentioned star attraction Jolyon HitFox, did he not appear?

SidewaysOtter · 12/03/2026 07:34

3/4s full

You know it was on seat filler websites, right? Still, I’m sure the “got given a ticket” attendees enjoyed the evening as much as the “I’m not like the other feminists” transmaids.

Exactly, if we can't always tell how does anyone have the slightest clue if a 'woman' is a woman or not?

If a genderist plops onto a thread and doesn't tell us they aren't going to engage with any responses are they really a genderist?

Yes Wolf Alice were there, along with Adam Lambert who someone upthread was asking about. Didn’t Maya tell you that on X on was she too busy chatting absolute sh*t? Very odd behaviour paying to attend a benefit gig purely to write scurrilous nastiness ..pretty sure I wouldn’t pay a penny to sit through a gender critical alternative ..but I guess obsessional hatred takes you places.

The audience was largely cis women & gay men with a small proportion of trans folk (none of whom were waving their penises around in the shared loos threatening to rape people, strange that eh?). Good representation by NION women, those of us completely fed up by feminism being hijacked by bigotry & our names being used (which you are as much as your own) to propagate agendas that have absolutely nothing to do with our own beliefs.

Wembley was 3/4’s full - a bit over ambitious of the organisers to select it but then I can’t imagine a Sex Matters benefit gig filling more than a village hall given they’d be unlikely to get any artists keen to perform at it. Although I imagine you might get a few politicians, some of the Reform lot or perhaps Parker Posey’s mate Tommy Robinson back from an overseas grift. What delightful people the GC cause attracts.

As for last night, there were speeches of hope and inclusion and positivity as well as those of loss from a mother who had lost her daughter needlessly and tragically. A good night all in. And as for reading any replies to this, I’ll be washing my hair.

I'm genuinely glad you had a good night. I hope you feel better soon.

I'm always taken aback by statements like this. Trans people tell us over and over that you can't tell someone's gender (or sex) by looking and yet clearly this person either thinks they know better or that it's not true.

So I've learned that it is actually ok to claim you know what someone's gender and sex are. Or that that poster is a fake ally who dismisses what trans people say.

OR that poster personally knows every member of the audience. Possible, I suppose, certainly going from the photos posted.

As is so often the case, the rules are flexible depending on the person. In-group people are allowed to break the rules as they see fit. They are the chosen onea on the right aide of history. Those of us with blackened evil souls will always be wrong even when we do as we're told. The rules are abritrary, a tool to control and manipulate. Its actually better for controllers when they dont make sense.

potpourree · 12/03/2026 07:50

Anyway, assuming at least some of that is true among all the "guessing" and "imagining", thanks for reporting back!

I'm not a bigot for believing sex is real and sometimes it matters, and I believe it's sexism that ultimately causes someone to repeatedly lie about that fact. But they will never take the time to examine their prejudices - just like their favourite Tommy Robinson et al.

BiologicalRobot · 12/03/2026 07:57

SJaneS
Rather angry considering you say it was a success. Did it end after your bedtime?

If you can tell someone is cis rather than trans then why don't you believe us when we tell you that tw do not pass 🤔

WarrenTofficier · 12/03/2026 08:09

@SJaneS How is Feminism hijacked by centering women? Surely that what Feminism is. The thing you want that puts people who aren't female at its centre that's Peopleism or Masculism.

Evil! This is nearly as bad as the infamous Terry Wogan in his tight trousers photo that used to do the rounds on the old BBC boards.

Why only 'a small proportion of trans folk'? You'd think they'd be out in force, a night all about them, showing up, making a statement, proclaiming their rights, that kind of thing...

Maybe the fact that they were such a small proportion of the audience is because there are such a tiny proportion of the population.

They are so noisy and unreasonable and occasionally violent that it's sometimes easy to forget just how few trans people there are.

'BBC News cannot find evidence of such an interview, but six days later he spoke to Radio Humberside to stand by the theory saying "the evidence is growing".'

Oh dear Zack is a big fat liar, who knew

"the evidence is growing"
Surely that's how he should be judged on his hypno tits treatment?
Although I no more expect the Scientific Method than the Spanish Inquisition where Zack is concerned.

lcakethereforeIam · 12/03/2026 08:59

Is it just me who reads Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Beth Ditto and thinks it's short for Beth Ellis-Bextor?
