Spotted on the Guardian today:

Raising money for the kimono-clad fox-killer's "Good" Law Project.

Definitely one to avoid!

Sugababes, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Wolf Alice and more to play all-star charity concert for trans rights

Organised by Olly Alexander and the Mighty Hoopla festival to ‘fight back against the politics of fear and exclusion’, Trans Mission will take place at Wembley Arena in March

Ahh, I was grasping at straws a bit .. beige foods, yes, but white, not so many.

Technically there should be salad as well, in order to have something to throw away at the end.

They’re on after Tinkly Laugh and the Head Tilts, but before Massive Salad.

And talking of Polanski, and just in case anyone isn’t enjoying this evening enough, the Beeb have dug the dirt on the tit whispering. Oddly enough it rather blows a joke through Dave’s revisionism: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cn9enygvezeo

if Polanski becomes PM the Greens will able to offer this as a gender transition related healthcare via the NHS!

I like those Indian takeaway salads the best - the come prepackaged in a little plastic bag for ease of dropping straight into the dustbin

He could do mass hypnotism sessions like the Moonies do with weddings. Maybe at Wembley.

DrudgeJedd · 11/03/2026 23:54

Julie Bindel was there too, was the audience 90% terf?

If I was a true believer that spent my hard earned cash, nice an early, on a £120 ticket I'd be pretty peeved to know that the same ticket was available for £12.50 on the day before the concert.

Not a great idea to annoy you most ardent supporters

Thanks.
I felt a bit sick reading that. Live Aid my arse!
Bob Geldof should sue.

Apparently it was jam packed. So kind of Meghan to send all those unsold jars of runny conserve over the pond to add to the love.

'You just have to take that gamble'

For anyone putting on a show, it's always a risk, and you're wondering if those seats will be filled - but Glyn and the team are going big...
London's Wembley Arena big.
Glyn told us, though, how word for the concert has gone international - and people will be flying in from all over to witness something which is going to be a part of history.”

😬

Bloody Nora. The delusion level is just stratospheric. A part of history begad! They really do think it's bloody Live Aid.

No mention of the size of the crowd, or photos of how empty it was

No mention of Zack Polanski

No mention of the fundraising nature of the gig, or its cause

No mention of Good Law Project or Jolyon.

It's actually bizarre that the reporter could have missed all that

Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Beth Ditto perform at Trans Mission concert

Sophie Ellis-Bextor made sure to put on a sizzling show in a dazzling pink bodysuit on Wednesday night as she performed at the Trans Mission concert in London.

Such a shame that MN and the Vipers was already booked for that night.

Think of how many of these merch items could have been sold

I thought I was the only one left to have this picture on their phone!

I don’t think the reporter went to the concert. She doesn’t seem to have done much more than describe what they were all wearing & talk about Sophie Ellis Bextor.

😯downright fucking weird! Lists each person's outfit, liberally use of Mail cliches 'leggy' 'stunner'. Then extensive section on SEB's pregnancies. AI?

'The Murder On The Dancefloor hitmaker was all smiles as she put on an incredible performance and was joined on stage by a number of drag backing dancers. '

In drag, or stunning, leggy, and brave chaps being their true inner selfs, I hope the reporter checked?

I think it certainly entertained plenty of us!

I can not name a single other SEB song than Murder on the Dancefloor. Has she had any other hits?

Igneococcus · 12/03/2026 06:12

Also, I can't see any mentions of Wolf Alice. Where they actually there?

There was that Groovejet one, the one that goes on about ‘if this ain’t love’ or something like that. I may have a dim recollection that it kept Victoria Beckham and her delightful autotuning off the No 1 spot. It’s very ancient in pop terms, anyway.

Hm, I don't remember that one at all. My pop knowledge dropped of a ledge since I don't spend much time in the lab with radio playing in every room anymore.
I'm still not sure who the audience is for this kind of line up. My 21 year old would have rather joined in the MN communal hair washing than spend money on this.

SJaneS · 12/03/2026 06:48

Yes Wolf Alice were there, along with Adam Lambert who someone upthread was asking about. Didn’t Maya tell you that on X on was she too busy chatting absolute sh*t? Very odd behaviour paying to attend a benefit gig purely to write scurrilous nastiness ..pretty sure I wouldn’t pay a penny to sit through a gender critical alternative ..but I guess obsessional hatred takes you places.

The audience was largely cis women & gay men with a small proportion of trans folk (none of whom were waving their penises around in the shared loos threatening to rape people, strange that eh?). Good representation by NION women, those of us completely fed up by feminism being hijacked by bigotry & our names being used (which you are as much as your own) to propagate agendas that have absolutely nothing to do with our own beliefs.

Wembley was 3/4’s full - a bit over ambitious of the organisers to select it but then I can’t imagine a Sex Matters benefit gig filling more than a village hall given they’d be unlikely to get any artists keen to perform at it. Although I imagine you might get a few politicians, some of the Reform lot or perhaps Parker Posey’s mate Tommy Robinson back from an overseas grift. What delightful people the GC cause attracts.

As for last night, there were speeches of hope and inclusion and positivity as well as those of loss from a mother who had lost her daughter needlessly and tragically. A good night all in. And as for reading any replies to this, I’ll be washing my hair.

Oh come on, we know that bit isn't true.

Theeyeballsinthesky · 12/03/2026 06:54

Whatever - no one can change sex and you're supporting a cause enabling men to parade their kink for wearing women's clothing in public whilst getting g to oppress women at the same time (such a win) and that lies to young girls and women that they can identify out of their female oppression by cutting of their breasts and destroying v their fertility

there's nothing kind or inclusive about lying to people or forcing the world to pander to your delusions with threats of violence or emotional blackmail

you are not the good people here

but you do you do dear

Was it, aye?

You’ll be saying men can turn into women next.

Oh…
