Raising money for the kimono-clad fox-killer's "Good" Law Project.

Definitely one to avoid!

Sugababes, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Wolf Alice and more to play all-star charity concert for trans rights

Organised by Olly Alexander and the Mighty Hoopla festival to ‘fight back against the politics of fear and exclusion’, Trans Mission will take place at Wembley Arena in March

Eew. That photo's put me right off my dinner.

Am I right in thinking that they’ve pledged that all proceeds from the donations page for the event will be split 50/50 between GLP and Not A Phase but nothing has been stated about how proceeds from ticket sales will be spent?

Appearances from Monroe Bergdorf, Jolyon Maugham, Shon Faye and Zack Polanski?

Give it up for that well-known beat combo - it's MoJoShoPo!

The Sugar Dudes.

Waitingfordoggo · 10/03/2026 20:42

An advert for this popped up on my FB about a week ago. And now it keeps appearing most days. One of the comments underneath says:

‘Would’ve loved to of gone to this, but every bit of money i get goes on HRT’

Sad times.

Just de-lurking to...🤣🤣🤣

Davros · 10/03/2026 20:45

@LarryIsMyRomanEmpire absolutely not! I don’t wear red pants 😹 MoJoShoPo sounds like a Judoon speaking (if you know, you know but don’t blame me for David Tennant)

If he wants to he could add in a To for Toby

JoToMo.

For some reason that's giving me "His Divine Shadow" vibes.

I am really looking forward to the write ups and photos. Will it be like those Trump rallies where they take a very selective picture to make it look rammed when its mostly empty?

I'm actually going tomorrow night (my son is a musician for one of the artists performing, could be the only time he ever gets to play at Wembley), I'll report back.

No, that's not my understanding of it at all. The GLP page is all about the Trans Mission event and buying tickets for this unmissable night of solidarity. There's no request for 'donations' to support it. There's a purchase 'get your tickets here' button and it says 'all proceeds of Trans Mission go directly to Good Law Project and Not a Phase.' How the 'proceeds' will be divided between the two is unspecified.

Make sure you embarrass him by wearing a t-shirt with a big picture of his face and a proud mum caption Grin

It's on the Transmission website.

"DONATE
Can’t make the event?

100% of donations on this page will be split 50/50 between Not A Phase (charity no. 1193381) and Good Law Project (non-profit company no. 10556197) who provide incredible support to the community 365 days a year.

£10 £20 £30 £40 Custom Amount"

Then a choice of
"One-Time Donation
Weekly Donation
Monthly Donation
Quarterly Donation
Annual Donation"

So if you choose £10 it then says

"Support us by covering the fees we have to pay
3% Cover the Fee £0.30 Total£10.30"

Thank you.

If the proceeds of ticket sales are being split, I assume JM was willing for the event to operate at a loss for GLP (assuming they have taken on the costs for putting on the event) or assumed 50% of ticket sales would cover the costs🤷‍♀️

Someone mentioned (maybe in a different thread) that their field of fucks was barren.

I think that The Barren Fucks sounds like a great band. Possibly Grunge.

That is one of my favourite sayings.

Behold my field of fucks for it is barren.

I hope you’ve got access to the backstage loos.

Almost no mention of it on trans Reddit. Genuinely do find that weird.

Someone on there was trying to give away a wheelchair space ticket earlier, wonder if they’ve managed it?

I'm really pleased for your son and hope he has an awesome night and you have a lovely time nearly dying of pride.

(But also GET PICS OF THE CROWD. Please 😁}

Is this a band name?

I think I’ve seen them at Glastonbury. Possibly the Poetry and Words tent at 4am, like all the best acts.

As for tomorrow night, sadly I need to refile some old credit card bills but the spice cupboard needs a good reorganisation first.

Maaate · 10/03/2026 21:41

And now, performing together live for the first time in years it's Weetabix Banana Horror
