Mumsnet posts within the FSG board are organized in a single feed. While Ovarit has forum subcategories (circles), FSG is a subforum itself, and does not have subcategories. Given that the discussion on FSG regularly involves trans- and gender-related subjects, it was likewise important to grab a wide sample. We scraped the most recent 3,767 threads and an accompanying 57,791 comments.5 In each case, the text, username, datetime, post type, and thread URL were collected. Data was collected in April of 2024.'

It's Actually Romantic.

The tragedy is that MN as a whole is an amazing resource of autobiographical content and discussion from real women about what they experience and what they care about unmediated by the need to accomodate the usual male audience's sensitivities.

If only they'd bother to scrape IABU and Relationships, they might finally start to fucking understand what living as a woman really means.

But I guess that would force them to recognise the real reason feminists are rejecting trans women's projected ideas of "womanhood", and that's the last thing they want to do.

Much better to keep repeating their own "storytelling" of feminist women inexplicably being radicalised to transphobic hatred.

I guess if they learn the lingo they can infiltrate terfdom and AI better.

100% agree with @FlirtsWithRhinos that a spot of work on AIBU and Relationships would give them all a MUCH clearer idea of what it's like being a woman than spying on this board.

It’s just another long winded tedious example of men who can’t accept the word no.

It's just all such a technicolour waste of time.

But they're not interested in what it's like to 'be a woman'. They're interested in a pornified caricature of 'femininity'. As has been noted, they hate actual women because reality is a yuck that spoils their yum. They want fully pneumatic, entirely sexualised ciphers that offer gratification. They don't see women as humans at all, just service bots that and perform obsequious 'validation' services on demand and stay quiet otherwise.

They HATE that women think and talk. It spoils the fantasy.

It always make makes me a laugh when women (most of whom are mothers) are described as "radicalized" for.....recognizing that sex is based on reality and impacts our lives in real and important ways that go beyond what men who like to think they are women experience. We are not the ones who have been radicalized! We are literally experiencing what our mothers and grandmothers have experienced since the dawn of time. I very much doubt this "research" would have been accepted for publication in any mainstream journal.
