The BBC have been gas lighting GC people for years, telling us they are impartial when we all knew they were anything but. I’d like to thank whoever leaked this document.

Does anyone think the BBC will do anything about this Trans bias?? I want to know as a licence holder, what steps they are taking to ensure they start to be impartial.

nauticant · 08/11/2025 11:27

They might make some surface changes as lip service to a commitment to impartiality but they've spent a decade, if not two, recruiting people for their commitment to genderism and other beliefs that often come as a bundle. Those people are not going to be impartial and could be around for decades. You'd also have to change the recruitment which is more possible to do in the shorter term but there'll still be years of more genderists being recruited.

I'm beginning to think that even if they decide to turn the supertanker round it'll have sunk before it's facing the right way.

nauticant · 08/11/2025 11:29

To put it another way, from when the problem first became known, how long did it take to BBC to rid itself of paedophiles? And can we be sure they're not still covering up for others even now?

Irememberwhenitwasallfieldsroundhere · 08/11/2025 12:21

Sorry if someone has said but how can we let Martine Croxall know she is supported?

Sorry if someone has said but how can we let Martine Croxall know she is supported?

I'd suggest something obvious like a comment on her twitter or facebook if she has them open - so BBC and others can see the support?

I feel quite tin hat thinking this, but could it be the supporters of the Trans in BBC and NHS are actually paid by Russia? I have a friend who's schoolfriend admitted his job is largely to keep trans stories in the news and he is paid handsomely for it - wouldn't tell me name of the company annoyingly. I just wonder if people in NHS HR and BBC Complaints Dept might be being paid off to agitate trans issues and discredit national institutions (whether they realise that is what they are being paid for or not). Maybe this needs to be properly investigated?

Other than that I am going to vote with my feet. They can't ignore a chunk of people all leaving at the time of this dossier being leaked that they won't even report on. I'm paying them not to report it!

They lovingly restored their treasured Eric Gill masthead statue after it was destroyed by somebody who objected to the public celebrating of a renowned paedophile.

When somebody shows you who they are, listen to them.

Ah it was Amol Rajam’s nasty little laugh on that Today clip that finally made me cancel my TV licence.

nauticant · 08/11/2025 15:38

I can't believe how incredibly hyped Amol Rajan is.

On second thoughts, that's by the BBC. Of course it makes sense.

NoFineBalance · 08/11/2025 16:35

THANK YOU! I cannot fucking stand Amol Rajan! I think he's a patronising little twit who thinks he's cleverer than he actually is, very much like James O'Brien. But nobody else seems to see it!

Mmmnotsure · 08/11/2025 16:57

@Tallisker I've tried to DM you

nauticant · 08/11/2025 17:15

If you check out Rajan's career you'll see that what he has in abundance is the ability to network and to suck up to powerful people.

Okay. I can't think of any other instances in which a newsreader has been complained about and then investigated by their employer for being briefly flummoxed by an unexpected word on the autocue.

The content isn't irrelevant.

She wasn't investigated because she was 'briefly flummoxed'. She was investigated because her actions gave the impression that she was expressing an opinion, which she is not allowed to do.

You may not be aware of other instances of this happening, but there are many. It's not even the first time it's happened to this particular presenter.

The content is irrelevant, regardless of how much you seem to want it to be.

Hi Kimmy

You’re everywhere this morning standing up for the rights of men with penises to piss all over womens rights.

Maxine objected to saying 2+2=5 and was punished for facecrime. Of course you can minimize it. But she didn’t express an opinion - she objected to a lie.

Bluemin · 09/11/2025 07:59

What is ironic about the whole thing is that the BBC were not being impartial in the first place by saying "pregnant people" instead of "pregnant women".

borntobequiet · 09/11/2025 08:03

Sometimes one catches snippets of news presenters for repressive regimes reporting, straight faced and calmly, things that are blatantly and provenly untrue. Occasionally, in the past, I have wondered how they are able to do it, and realised that it is partly through fear (of course, some may support the regime or be self-interested in other ways.)
Such a shame that our own national broadcaster is little better - with the somewhat shocking reality that the repression and fear comes from within the broadcaster itself.

ItsCoolForCats · 09/11/2025 08:05

Jon Soppel has retweeted Janice's article, saying that it is depressingly true. I don't listen to the Newsagents anymore, but they've also not been great on this issue, as far as I'm aware.

Freysimo · 09/11/2025 08:12

I'm with Maxine, but she does have form. I remember she couldn't hide her delight when Boris was ousted. That was a facial expression she wasn't reprimanded for.

EmmyFr · 09/11/2025 08:24

I checked on Nitter and the BBC have put out a tweet to report on their upholding the complaint (sorry it's been mentioned, haven't RTFT). I am genuinely wondering whether it's someone internal who's mad about it who's tweeted to make sure the morons who did it see how much they are getting roasted.

The Mail keeping up the pressure - and saying that there are some key transactivists in the newsroom who've been shutting down impartial coverage over this for years

If I were M15 I'd start investigating that Ivory Tower for links to hostile states. There's money coming into this somewhere...
