Katie Lam and Pochin from Reform spouting stuff that makes me feel sick. Looking at all the glossy goons like Kristi Noem and Pam Bondi surrounding Trump. I am predicting that Erica Kirk will be the first woman President or perhaps more likely Vance’s Vice President. I’m not talking about women who would like to pay less tax, or Theresa May, but those who rise in extreme right wing circles.

I’m working my way extremely slowly through Andrea Dworkin’s ‘Right Wing Women’. Has anyone else read it? I don’t have any conclusions about this yet…

Yes, howse, I can do that totally straight faced, my question was about the left, or the feckers that claim to be the left at the moment, so don't distract. As long as the "left" doesn't own up to their failures and keep lying (to themselves and the electorate) and keep treating working class people like cattle that owes them them their votes they will keep loosing. No matter how much arrogant shite you spout from your basement in Australia will change this,

By the time dear leader Trump & his incompetent clowns are finished with making cucks out of the electorate that voted him in, they will be begging for Biden to rise from his Connecticut beach chair….

The example I go back to is those ads on street harassment that Sadiq Khan's administration has produced, urging men to say "maaaate" when they see it happen.

When you watch the ads back to back, there's one thing you can't help noticing. They all feature ethnic minority women being harassed by white men.

I know why they did that. On one level I even sympathise with why they did it, because instinctively you don't want to spread negative stereotypes about minorities. But once you notice if, you can't help feeling gaslit.

Good points. I wondered why they didn't say 'stop that right now you (insert expletives of choice) rather than 'maate'.

The other really good episode was this one; around education

https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/this-isnt-working/id1733064272?i=1000712306005

the key point is made that EYFS is where everything starts. Careers, life opportunities etc. and the UK treats this stage of life as babysitting.

so yes, the liberal left needs to get its shit together.

what I like about this series, which I’ve only just stumbled on thanks to the battle of ideas, is that it’s all about EDI and HR.

EDI used badly is what is causing the situations that led to this thread. Yet EDI is vitally important too, if used correctly. Openly and honestly.

It's odd, because an awful lot of wc families are mixed race. And I would say it's been that way for quite a long time. People living in fairly mixed communities, going to mixed schools and workplaces. And so they get married, have kids.

I know there is a certain type of person who seems convinced that the people in these relationships are still deeply racists - just like black or Asian the conservatives must be secretly self-loathing or racist themselves.

but it starts to seem like a lot of having to assume that the simplest explanation - that they are not racists - is not the true one, and instead there are weird conspiracies involved.

Exactly. And these racism accusations only seem to go one way.

I’d say it’s pretty racist to view white girls as fair game for rape because they are white. There is all sorts of racist violence between different Asian groups and there seems to be growing class based racism with people on here blithely throwing around derogatory words like ‘gammon’ which refer entirely to the colour of a persons skin.

It seems like the people on the left trying to cover this up have a deep seated dislike of white British people, to an extent including themselves. A type of self flagellation to atone for the sins of our ancestors?

When you look at British history, and the things we’ve done to other countries, if you don’t hate your country because of that then you must seriously lack empathy. We’ve taken way more from the world than we have given, and things like DEI are little steps in the right direction at addressing the balance.

Lately the discussion has moved on to reparations, but sadly I don’t think Labour have the political willpower to do what’s right in this regard, because they will be scared of losing the working class white vote to someone like Reform.

BundleBoogie · 27/10/2025 07:24

NotBadConsidering · 27/10/2025 06:01

This is why it should be a matter of public record what political party people vote for, I want to know who it is I live amongst that voted out my right to bodily autonomy all because they thought the left were too ‘woke’ or what have you.

Well that’s horribly scary and creepy that anyone would think that, let alone say it out loud.

Yes - quite unbelievable. Swift clearly has no understanding of democracy.

I wonder if all these ‘private messages of support’ she’s receiving are from the communists?

That is absolutely a racist dog whistle right out in the open for everyone to see. Hope not Hate should do a feature on this place, it’s scary how comments like this are just openly accepted.

Disgusting.

If you think only the working class white vote would have an objection to giving 14 countries 18 trillion dollars then you really are in cloud cuckoo land. If your plan is to publicly admonish those who vote against such a policy once you’ve seen their vote on your proposed public voting register it might take you a while to tell them all off for being racist.

The messaging of Labour or the Conservatives is not speaking to the young men I know locally. Young white males, university not appealing, so getting into work (and doing very well). We are in a rural area so farming is important and only one party is even trying to sound like they care.

Then frankly we should be forced to hand over the money by the United Nations or some impartial entity international legal organisation.

Do you hate France and Italy and Spain and the Scandinavian countries and the Turks as well? Or America and Australia for what their founding fathers did to the indigenous population? Then there's Germany and what's happened more recently in Africa and the Arab states and actually I'm not sure that you're not going to end up hating everyone.

I usually assume she too but given some of the posts I wonder if not in this case. The shame one and control for example.

And the supposed messages..

yes I have a young male relative who is from a wealthy background, privately educated and has chosen agriculture as a career path. Before the GE he told me that all the farm hands and peers on his agricultural course were all voting reform. He’s been raised in a more liberal left environment and was clearly conflicted.

Would it though? Labour could throw their hands in the air and wail about how unfair it is that the nasty supranational organisation is taking working class people’s wealth and handing it back to the disenfranchised of the world. Politically it could work out for them.

Do people get lots of private messages on MN? I've been on MN a good 20 years and I might have totalled maybe 50 PMs in that time and that's a generous count. Makes you wonder why on an anonymous forum people can't support you publicly though.

Yes this applies to some posts. Why might they be on the feminist board of mn.
