Has banned women and girls over the age of 12 from participating. Thoughts?

Is it appropriate for male teachers to modify their clothing and to wear short shorts with their penises bulging out in front of young girls?

Does this sort of thing happen often in Tower hamlets, or just in your imagination.

SpaceRaccoon · 12/10/2025 16:13

Btw Hadmysay has made some highly antisemitic comments on other threads so this isn't coming as a surprise to me.

Wow! I am genuinely appalled!

I think I need to reset my shock meter if we're getting people like you, actual paedophile and rape apologists openly posting their "entitlements" on the feminism board.

Said every paedophile, ever…

It does explain why you won’t answer why a boy is still a boy after 12 but a girl isn’t. Turns out the initial posters on this thread were right - fair game.

You know the little creep is getting aroused by these posts.

Yes just ignore him, waste of time and energy.

Hadmysay · 12/10/2025 14:58

No its the same thing.
if male teachers were modyfying their attire in a somewhat sexually provocative manner so you could see what they had for dinner, made their clothing shorter,or even tghter so their package was bulging it would make your daughters feel uncomfortable and you would call them perverts so for me it's the same thing.
If young girls are dressing in certain ways that make male teachers feel uncomfortable because they choose to modify their clothing in a scantily clad manner I will keep the same energy and say I agree with the male teachers just as I would do vice versa

Oh well - we just don't agree then, I object to the reason given, not the uniform regulations.

Afghanistan has a population of 42 million. Women do not have the most basic human rights.

Iran has a population of of 92 million. Women are beaten because they show their hair.

These aren't the majority muslim countries with the largest populations, but they can't be written off as irrelevant, and they are doing these things in the name of Islam.

Enough men are clearly using the Islamic faith to systematically abuse women to justify the raising of eyebrows when women are excluded from participation in a fun run.

And there is no point using whataboutism to suggest that Christian abuse of women somehow balances out Muslim abuse of women. Men have many ways to abuse and oppress women. We know.

Iran has a population of of 92 million. Women are beaten because they show their hair.

Western propaganda as usual.

I can't even really say what I'm thinking in response to that poster for fear of deletion, or a ban.

We should all be able to point and shout exactly what this is from the rooftops.

localnotail · 12/10/2025 16:18

Why we have to pretend that Islam (and other strict orthodox religions) is quite strict on what females can and cannot do, and that a lot of it is in direct contradiction with out Western values?

How is this surprising? Its their religion, what would you expect?

No girl at school is an adult. Adult behaving sexually towards a child (anyone under 18!is illegal in the UK. There is no law to govern the dressing of children (those under 18. If an adult finds a child (ie a person under 18 attractive) he is disgusting and if he acts on that in any way he is committing a crime. If you cannot see this difference you have screwed up set of morals -wherever they have come from.

Obviously not. Just like it would be inappropriate for a female teacher to show up to work in a bikini. It would be inappropriate. It doesn't mean that bikinis are immodest and should be banned, it just means they're not suited to a school environment.

BundleBoogie · 12/10/2025 16:22

Hadmysay · 12/10/2025 13:49

Some muslim women have been oppressed and killed granted the vast majority aren't.
There's women in your culture that are oppressed to and killed too.
And we all live by rules. Everyday.
Most women are happy to live by these rules. You might not like it but that's a you issue.
And every community is conditioned.
Yours especially.
No community is perfect.

Seriously 🙄

While not perfect, British culture doesn’t involve forced marriage, killing girls for disrespecting their family or FGM.

For all our faults, we do not have rules deliberately designed to subjugate and hide women en masse and stop us from participating in normal society.

And, trans activists influence aside, we generally try to improve the lot of women, not make life worse.

You are bizarrely determined to argue in favour of subjugating and treating women worse than men. You are either a man or a woman who needs to have a little think about her values.

Exactly-I think the tide has turned here in Britain too, the BBC et al will take some time to catch up but even the Labour Party is starting to cotton on.

We all have our part to play be calling out anti British sentiment wherever we see it. In schools, work places, public places, politics. Businesses, planning. In the East End of London, they’re turning what was a pub and live music venue into a mosque. Talk about symbolic erasing of British culture.

I agree completely.

I find it very hard that people have an inherent expectation that our small, distinct island should dismantle its heritage and become a multicultural smorgasbord to accommodate others, while their heritage is safely and vigorously defended in their country of origin.

Safeguard is essential and it works both ways for the protection of all

So, just to be clear, you think that if adult male teachers find female children in short skirts, sexually tempting, that is sometimes the fault of the female child?

I don’t do tik tok but there was a spate of well publicised issues with the morality police having issues with women and girls not following hijab rules a few years ago. I think they lightened up after the death of Mahsa Amini led to protests. Whose father claimed she died as the result of her beating.

Muslims are 6.5% of the population. This has grown by 1.2 million since 2011 - a rapid rise but still a small minority that seems to have a growing influence in our society.

If the government and Islamic leaders (and Humza Yousaf) get their way, they will have more power.

Unfortunately there’s a vast majority of muslims who believe their religious duty is to convert everyone to their religion.

There is male privilege at parkrun. The sexists in charge allow men to run as women. We all run together at 9am but the men's finishing results are accurate and fair, unlike the women's result. They refuse to change it, we keep asking them. The Muslim Charity Run men who organise the event probably ignore Muslim women asking to be included.

Men from all cultures can be sexist pigs unfortunately.

Bigpinksweater · 12/10/2025 16:28

Humza Yousef is a joke. He calls everybody racist, while only caring about foreign affairs that affect fellow Muslims.

Thedevilhasfinallycaughtupwithhim · 12/10/2025 16:30

If it was so “rare”, we wouldn’t have teachers living in hiding, fearing for their lives because he showed a cartoon.

Bigpinksweater · 12/10/2025 16:32

In fact I will take the opportunity to say I find ‘Your Party’ incredibly sinister and something we need to call out at every single opportunity. Any people responding to my posts that the bedfellows of Corbyn voted against decriminalising abortion and in favour of cousin marriage, simply couldn’t believe it. They truly thought these small group of almost exclusively Muslim men (and Zarah, who accused them of sexism) headed up by a bloke who called Hamas ‘friends’ are just a gentle, socialist party who care about the poor and liberating trans people.

napody · 12/10/2025 16:33

Found it funny that the DM are outraged that 'the wokerati' aren't bothered. Have they just noticed that 'the wokerati' (not all of the left of which I still class myself) aren't bothered about women?

BUT it did raise an interesting question (haven't rtft so may have been asked): does the SC implications mean 'women and children' can't be a group for anything?

inamarina · 12/10/2025 16:33

Toofficeornot · 12/10/2025 12:13

By your logic then trans people can take part in any gender race and in fact anyone can take part in any gender sports events they wish to. Mike Tyson can enter a womens boxing match.

Err, how did you get to that conclusion?
