MN has made me pink and I am outraged at the stereotyping!

I feel that I have been taken over by aliens.

All my posts are now pink.

And OP posts are now the blue that used to be the colour on MNHQ posts.

I hateses pink.

Yes, the blue is very medical/ dentisty feeling
And the pink is not even a good pink!

Didn't there used to be a "Watch thread" button at both the top and bottom of the thread list? The one on the top was what I used to click first thing upon opening an interesting thread, now it's not there...... Or is it the Mandela effect? 😅 😳

At the top of the thread the Watch button is now on the lower right of the OP for some reason.

Are we all pink by default? It used to be pink, before it turned green. I remember once a TRA posting a screenshot on Twitter of a post that was pink so it identified them as the poster (they’re not very bright). Then it was changed to be green for OP and green for own posts.

That hideous elastoplast colour is NOT pink

Nothing if you like it. Not everyone does. And it's not a nice shade of pink either. I wouldn't even call it pink really.

It never occurred to me that so many of us would have this. It’s really pleased me 😊

I didn’t like it for all of three posts. Now I’m fine with the pink. I like it more now than the colour was before. I think it was green? 😀 I’m a quick adapter.

I always view the site in Dark Mode so in the past I chose purple for OP posts and green for my posts. Now I don't see any colours in any posts except a stupid pink lozenge attached to posts belonging to the OP.

I loved having the colours I had because white text on a dark background reduces eyestrain and headaches for me, and then the OP and my posts being consistently coloured helped me to find them when scrolling quickly through a busy thread.

| agree that it might be useful to give people a colour wheel or a crayon chart to pick their preferred colours for designating posts.

I agree the new colours are horrid. I used to use purple and green too

I’m fine with it, looks a bit brighter but after a few minutes I hardly noticed. I seem to be more of a salmon pink.

I do not like change. So there.

Was there always a share option next to “add post”. Feeling sad because I can’t think of anyone I would want to share my MN posts with, apart from my loyal followers other MN users of course.

Can you change it on the app?

Most posters on the "official" thread seem to find the pink migrance inducing.

The colours are so pale they ae pointless.

It really is more tiring to read.

Not sure why but even the listing of posts eg new and recently updated somehow clashes.

Not sure if as individual users we can can that, but the glaring pink on shiny blue is just a hostile environment.

Maybe I should switch to dark mode.
