A relationship with his teacher, from when he was 14 isn't bizarre?

Large age gaps and relationship longevity are not unusual. My husband is a lot older than me and we've been married for 32 years.

These conspiracies that are circulating in the U.S are what is truly bizarre. People also claiming Michelle Obama is a man.

The you've got Prince Charles really being a Lizard; and Jeffrey Epstein a mossad agent.

This ‘scandal’ actually goes beyond brigittes biological sex. They claim his mother was a doctor working with trans people and his father a child psychologist. There seems to be some suggestion that macron is a manufactured puppet.

That is one of the most completely insane things I've ever heard 😲😲😲
Where do people get this shit from?

Signalbox · 18/09/2025 16:51

DoubleShotEspresso · 18/09/2025 16:35

This is preposterous & so scary.
Why should any woman have to “prove” their biology when supposedly it’s unacceptable to ask the same of a fella in a frock in a public bathroom?

i am not particularly a fan of the Macrons, but surely this sets a pretty horrible precedent?

Why should any woman have to “prove” their biology

Because they are suing for libel.
This is a choice.

People spending too much time going down podcast vortexes.

This whole thing is batshit.

At least Candace Owens isn't one of ours. Good luck Americans.

For a relationship that started between a 14-year-old school boy and a 36-year-old teacher to have any kind of longevity at all is bizarre. Not just an age gap, but that specific set of circumstances.

Your own relationship is irrelevant, as is the list of nonsense you’ve included.

BundleBoogie · 18/09/2025 16:58

She should invite Imane Khelif to do the test with her…

He’s gone very quiet on the testing.

If suing for libel over accusations of your biological sex, then yes.

Proving that you are genetically female to enter into professional sporting competitions is also acceptable.

It's not nonsense. I have a friend in the U.S who has fallen down such a worm hole. All of those conspiracies I listed I've heard from her, including the Macron one, and more...... I bet you listen to the same podcasters as she does.

So you think it’s okay for right wing grifters to make accusations of fraud and medical malpractice and face no consequences?

DwarfBeans · 18/09/2025 17:07

DontReinMeIn · 18/09/2025 16:48

But there’s no evidence she is trans.

In your opinion. Others believe there is lots of evidence. At the very least he/she is a pedophile. There will be some people desperate to ensure we all firmly believe Brigitte is a biological woman, a female pedophile.

There will be consequences if libel is proven.

Surely you don't want "consequences" just becusse someone rich and powerful doesn't wlkike what's being said?

I agree this is likely nonsense, but you can't have it both ways.

YourLemonTiger · 18/09/2025 17:17

So, the theory is that Brigitte is a man, the father of her children and, what, her ex husband was a woman, the mother of the children????
Or is it just one big gay man festival and the mother is unknown?

It's too crazy. (Although macron does make my gaydar go off, but that's a separate issue).

Surely Brigitte Macron went to school. There must be hundreds of people who remember her as a young child at school.

I like to think if I was very famous and someone was going round saying I was a man at least 1 person I knew as a child would say don't be ridiculous I remember playing rounders with her.

Here's another theory. Strangely I find it more convincing. It doesn't mention the clairvoyant though.

RLI: The Russian military intelligence is engaged in discrediting the first ladies of NATO countries

Russian military intelligence is involved in a campaign to discredit the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron and female politicians in Europe, according to specialists from the Robert Lansing Institute (RLI).

The research group reports that Moscow is using disinformation to undermine the reputations of the wives of politicians and female politicians in Europe, focusing on gender and sexist issues.

One example of such a campaign was the appearance of an article by French journalist Natasha Rey, who claimed that Brigitte Macron was allegedly a man. Shortly after the publication, Rey expressed her desire to move to Russia and seek political asylum there. It is reported that she sought help from Russian deputy Pyotr Tolstoy, who is linked to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Researchers believe that Natasha Rey might have been acting as an influence agent, gathering information for the Kremlin under the guise of journalism. Her connections to French far-right groups also raise suspicions. Previously, the Faits et documents magazine, founded by far-right activist Emmanuel Rathier, published an investigation into France's first lady. This magazine has been repeatedly accused of anti-Semitism and spreading conspiracy theories.

Who is the 'them' spreading false information?

You know those magnetic words you can get to put on your fridge door and make up random sentences with?
They should have a 'conspiracy theory' set.
One where you could put the words
'Michelle Obama'
and
'Brigitte Macron'
'are'
...let's see, let's go for..
'brothers'.

You heard it first here, folks😁

There is so much fascinating research that the brains of people who believe in conspiracy theories really are different. The regions of the brain implicated in value-based decision-making and belief uncertainty are quite different.

I await the correlation between the brain activity of conspiracy theorists and religious fanatics as I personally find their explanation rationales and thought processes to be almost identical.

I'm quite normal but I remember being briefly (a week or so) obsessed by the idea the two 1 Direction chaps were in a relationship. It was fascinating how quickly I became convinced by the idea I was somehow "in the know". I actually remember doing rhe same thing with the Graham Hancock pyramids thing 30 years ago.
In both cases the mania passed very quickly but it amused me even as it amazed me.
Never thought men could be women though, tbf.

Edited

“I bet you listen to the same podcasters as she does” type comments seem so old-fashioned and lame now. Reminds me of Twitter ten years ago... “Bet you’re in that group, loser!” Totally inane.

I doubt you note who posts what, but I did say that this is the only conspiracy theory that I would give a second glance. The only podcast I listen to is one that pokes mild fun at The Archers. Typecast that.

happydappy2 · 18/09/2025 17:25

those articles are interesting-in each case the female teacher was jailed....why wasn't Brigitte? Is the law different in France?

I disagree. I’m not referring to the Macrons here as have no idea about them, but grooming scenarios can go on for many, many years.

Yes, it does all seem crazy when you first come across it. But Xavier Poussard spent years asking the same questions as you and no, not one person, not one photo. Information about anyone from the past is sketchy. Brigittes daughter contradicted herself about when her own father died allegedly. They are hiding something that’s for sure.

Well yes, but surely you need the information to be proven as false? We can't have the rich and powerful saying "what you said is false, let's have some consquences"
