I may have been a bit too enthusiastic with my pin stabbing.

Bessie is good at tending such injuries. No doubt she will call on Germolene's help if needed as well.

Hopefully they'll keep Gangrene well out of the way though.

I think Germolene knows to mark Gangrene - and Gonorrhoea, Gastroenteritis and Gout for that matter - to protect her patients.

Those poor gerbils. Can they change their names ...Generous, Gorgeous, Gracious, Glamorous and Gifted.

Magpiecomplex · 15/09/2025 21:23

Deed-polls processed by Giant Wombat every second Sunday when there's an r in the month.

Giant Wombat will sort it out! She looks pleased to have purpose.

Magpiecomplex · 15/09/2025 21:32

There's a lot of gerbils in that queue, I can't help wondering what other unsuitable names the poor things have been saddled with.

FuzzyPuffling · 15/09/2025 21:38

Greedy, Gruesome, Grumpy, Grotty....

FuzzyPuffling · 15/09/2025 21:39

...and Gerald.

Boiledbeetle · 15/09/2025 21:44

Pity poor Gastroenterocolitises whose mother wanted her to have the longest gerbil name!

You got me.

Not sure if any of the 43 called Gaynor or the 57 called Glenda are planning on changing or just sticking with the general levels of confusion saying anyone seen Gaynor? Or Is Glenda on shift tonight? provokes.

I've always suspected them of secretly enjoying the confusion that causes. Kind of like identical twins pretending to be each other at school.

I do feel sorry for the identical triplets all called Gertrude. That just causes so much confusion that even they don't know which one they are.

The Sisters Gertrude would be a good name for a female barbershop trio though.

MyrtleLion · 15/09/2025 22:05

Latest square.

Trinity stitch.

It was 11 of 48 and I skipped it because I thought it was hard. It was much easier than I expected. There are some mistakes, but I'm very pleased.

I knitted about 32 squares if a 48 square knitalong, and I'm returning to the tricky ones now.

Just popping in from, centre parks in Bucks, now everybody has gone to bed. didn’t realise how near from anywhere the Bluestocking is.

When down a mad flume with a massive drop earlier, scared the shit out of me.

went up again of course.

we have a games room with a pool table so off to shoot some shots.

Used to be a shit hot pool player a long time ago.

Swashbuckled · 15/09/2025 23:26

We just popped in to say hello before going to bed. Night all.

I trust @FuzzyPuffling and the gerbils are on their way to Woolly Hugs HQ, as Maud is nearly ready to return home.

Edited

The weather there is starting to look very foggy (thanks Co Pilot).

You may have to stop repeatedly.

Have you programmed all the cafe locations along your route into your internal sat nav?

Although you could be circling a while as they aren't back from the post office yet!
