Graham Linehan arrested on arrival at Heathrow Part 4

These threads have mostly been used to follow the case that has taken place at Westminster Magistrate's Court over the 4th and 5th September, (and will continue on the 29th October), but were created to follow the fallout of Graham's arrest at Heathrow on his return to the UK for this court case last week, and what is allegedly a conspiracy of TRAs to intimidate and harass a number of people, including Graham, with the alleged support of various police services.

He is currently on trial for alleged harassment of a trans identified male and criminal damage to the man's phone. The charges stem from a series of events in October 2024 at Battle of Ideas.

Free Speech Union are running a fundraiser to support a claim against the Met in reference to the Heathrow arrest. Just search FSU and Graham Linehan fundraiser and it should be easy to find. At the time of posting it has reached 64% of its stretch target.
The FSU have managed to get the bail condition that @Glinner must not post on X removed, so he is now freely posting on there again.

Most of the mainstream media have reported on the case, but none have covered it as well as Nick Wallis. Follow him on X for live posting from the court again on 29th October.

So posts like those are the call to arms to other TRAs to flood the email of anyone they deem to restrict their right to harass whomever they want, whenever they want? Interesting watching it ‘live’ as it were.

Seems it may turn out to be a case of ‘I fought by misusing the law but the law won’?

it’s pretty comprehensive, they, to their credit, explain that Sophia Brooks is a trans woman, and correctly use the pronouns that the witnesses use. So it’s clear Brooks’s is a man.

Is Linsey Watson urging people to bombard the court and the judge with emails? What does he think that will achieve?

Hes so convinced by his own power, and with good reason to date, that he thinks the judge will go 'oh, ok then'.

He must think that they have a poor chance of success. I really hope he's right.

Did Brooks have to verIfy his age? I would assume the court would check as to his exact age, etc?

Wonder if the judge will be made aware of the source of the campaign against him?
Or is this sort of thing 'just noise'?

Loving the way the Nicklin J judgment was brought in - Nicklin was the judge presiding over Hayden v Dickinson case brought by our favourite lawyer Stephanie Hayden, and who is propping up Brooks (with the help of Lynsay Watson).

Further, Nicklin J said that the court could reasonably expect a person who was the subject of unwanted communications to engage in a degree of self-help before turning to the courts. The first step, he said, was “self-resilience”, i.e. the ability to ignore or shrug off unpleasant messages or comments, a quality that was perhaps all the more important if a person intended to engage in public debate. Step two was to block such contact, which Ms Hayden had not done until after she had received the 16th message. After being blocked, Ms Dickenson had not tagged Ms Hayden in any subsequent messages. The only reason Ms Hayden had become aware of them was because she had sought them out.

Not a good position to be in, for someone who prefers to work in the shadows so much that for a long time the only available photos were 25 years old.

I would love to see one too, I scoured the internet and X this morning. Can’t find anything,

Nick Wallis asking for all communications between the complainant, his friends and the police would've dropped a bomb on these men.

Having a journalist like him interested in this story is absolutely bloody superb.

In short the parties are going to decide if i can have the police reports and correspondence with the complainant and the complainant's friends that was referred to in court

Nick Wallis knows how to play a bloody long game and he will have a lot of backing.
