We all get this endlessly from every angle. Why do you care?
Why can't you just let this vulnerable group quietly get on with their lives?
It's just a tiny minority so go do something better with your day...

So I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread of 'ways it affects other people' and the effects of losing all logic, reason, sense of reality, and how health, safety and welfare are thrown out of the window the moment the word 'trans' is mentioned.

Please feel free to add your own with a link to what you are talking about. Especially documents relating to policy and processes that are wide open to abuse.

I've seen at least two uses of flat earth in relation to GC views and thought, 'my, you've got a cheek'.

Yes, it’s very evident. It’s almost as if they have very limited thought processes and vocabularies and no actual ideas of their own that aren’t dependent on some slogan or thought-terminating cliché. So they magpie anything that comes their way.
I’ve been intrigued by their hilarious misuse of ‘cognitive dissonance’ and ‘critical thinking’.

ain't it just

DARVOing is currently a big thing for trans posters, I'm keeping a list of examples of things that have been said on here to critique trans ideology being mirrored back - without any explanation or justification of course.

Some quick examples - 'cognitive dissonance' 'the law as it is and not as you want it to be' 'you have been lied to' 'trans people are just a tiny percentage of the population'

These words and phrases have frequently been used by GC feminists in discussing trans ideology, and all of them have recently been 'mirrored' back by trans posters.

Of course, words are empty if there is no factual context to back them up, so what they are doing is very obvious and it just looks silly - it reminds me of a fractious, over-tired 5 year old shouting back 'No it's past YOUR bedtime so YOU put your pyjamas on and go to bed!'

It's interesting to see that not just words but actions being 'mirrored' - violent acts which have been perpetrated AGAINST GC women being reversed as perpetrated BY GC women.

Once you're aware of the 'mirroring', you'll spot it when it's used.

It’s always been a thing. It was the thing I noticed most when I first became aware of “trans rights” activism a decade ago. It’s a signature of this movement, because so much of it is based on cluster B personality disorders such as NPD.

I haven't seen 'flat earth' being mirrored - that's a real humdinger, thanks, Wait, I'll add it to my list.
You don't happen to have an example of it in use, do you?

I suppose when your whole cosmogony is based on men being women, words are just things to be thrown around randomly...

UnlockedXCX · 08/07/2025 15:15

I'm a nerdy type of person, and a lot of of my obscure hobbies (online) are overrun by TRAs. It's pretty inhospitable if you disagree with anything and doubly frustrating to be amongst people who say things like "priest and nun were genders" and "nobody knew what male/female were until colonism" lol. You can post an image of like idk bread and someone will reply to it with "woah this bread is so gender"

I miss my hobbies but I hate the people who inhabit them. So I suppose I can say it's impacted me by ruining the things I love.

I have tried but I can't remember which thread it was on. Fairly sure it was part of a backslapping dialogue between our buzzy friend and the American cyclist.

The fact it was laughed off while you were vulnerable is horrifying. Sorry that happened to you.
