Dawson is making very little sense in this article, but the woman-hatred is very clear.

Teen Vogue does not surprise me at all.

It's like, if I see a "lesbian" website giving young lesbians tips on how to give blowjobs, I know what demographic that site is serving, even if it's not the majority of the site's readership.

I believe that how to have lesbian sex with a penis has been one of the features of teen vogue if I remember correctly. That and the anal sex advocacy. Those were why I found out who it was targeted 'for' and to. Educating teenaged female people on how to give sex to 'lesbians' who were male or to cater for any sexual wish of a male person.

You really couldn't make it up. This thing about anal sex being something for female people is something that is really concerning. It is so focused on female people being a hole for a dick in any orifice that I despair for those girls reading it.

'Books that use phrases like “let them use your body and get fucked both ends like a little piggy,” and “You’re a fucking cum slut. Worthless tranny whore” should not be recommended to children,'

Wonderland, stocked in the teen section of libraries and in secondary schools.

Never in the school library that I run.

Nerdrotic is not to everyone's taste, I know, but if it weren't for him and Critical Drinker I think I would have gone mad long ago.

And you know their anger comes from loving these pop culture franchises, knowing the entertainment potential they have, and hating what the entertainment business has done with them.

Charlie Brooker used to be like that. And then somewhere along the way, Charlie became a showbiz insider with a showbiz wife and showbiz friends, who went to the showbiz parties, who could get Channel 4 projects greenlit on his name alone. And Charlie wasn't angry any more.

The system used to be good at absorbing its critics. Today Russell T Davies seems to be on a mission to alienate every Doctor Who fan to the point where even the contributors to the Who subreddits (overwhelmingly identifying as "queer", "neurodiverse", "super left wing") are calling him a clueless boomer.

ArabellaScott · 10/06/2025 13:44

'Teen Vogue constructs an active female identity which is supposed to inspire “the next generation of influencers”. In terms of Judith Butler’s theory of performativity, the images and stories encourage the young readers to express themselves freely and find their own voice in the world.'

From the article

“..we can either sit on X, spewing increasingly unhinged tweets,”

He does have a level of self awareness of tra behaviour. It’s a shame he hasn’t put two and two together and understood his blatant homophobia.

PopstarPoppy · 10/06/2025 13:55

“A system that has been working perfectly well since 2010 has now been unnecessarily tampered with”

Working perfectly well for YOU, maybe. Newsflash, Juno: transwomen aren’t the only people on Earth.

ArabellaScott · 10/06/2025 13:59

'No one is reduced to a stereotype. The representations are positive and empowering.
My mission for Teen Vogue is to be as inclusive and representative as possible, to champion and celebrate all kinds of diversity, to be a guide and resource for young people who want to change the world for the better, and to remember to have fun and find joy while doing it.'

Versha Sharma (Teen Vogue Editor in Chief)

And I thought it was just all about selling shit with flashy pictures. Blow me down.

And the twisting and lying (lying or profound stupidity/ignorance) - no it's been very necessarily DE-tampered with. A clarification has been sought and given in a situation where the actual law was being lied about and misrepresented to the unlawful detriment of women and gay people.

JD's statement isn't just wrong, it's the literal opposite of the truth.

Ah: I see my account of Juno Dawson's appearance at the Hay Festival has been removed yet again! Why am I not permitted to recount my personal experience of seeing Dawson at public event? Hay videos all the events. He'll be on film in his micro mini.

Noting the story about lesbians in Boston getting challenged in loos.

Noting absence of stories of trans identifying males having any issues in the men's loos.

Noting absence of the fact that trans identifying females now have pregnancy and maternity rights protected in the UK.

Noting also the non-stories. Apparently this only became an issue once the UK SC defined what a woman is for the purposes of EA. Before this lesbians - who by their very definition know exactly what a woman is - apparently went about their business unchallenged. Or, if they were challenged, nobody cared and no one was listening.

Funny, that.

I'm glad that you posted it Pluvia - I saw it before it was removed.

I don't know why it needs to be censored. Witnessing those clumsy caricatures of womanhood is genuinely upsetting and offensive. It's happened to me a couple of times and the range of emotions it provoked on both occasions was complex and profound. It's something I think women should be able to speak about.

Pluvia · 10/06/2025 14:15

Thanks. I'm going to take it up with the moderators. This is beyond a joke. Dawson is a man — he knows it. Since the SC ruling I should be allowed to call him he and use the phrase trans-identified man. The fact that he wore a ridiculously short skirt to the event is on record: there will be video and hundreds of people who saw him live. Why on earth am I not allowed to say what I observed?

Toseland · 10/06/2025 14:19

Why does this boil your p* so much?
Because all the quirky, eccentric, free-thinking kids, the gay kids and the tomboys are now conforming to pathetic gender stereotypes we destroyed in the fucking 1980s you shitty, selfish, porn-soaked bloke.
All the women I know are spending their money and time having to argue this crap.
It's destroyed my life as I can now clearly see how much women and children matter; which is not very much at all.
I will never forgive you. Never!

Well said. Having to assume a man in a dress is a 'woman' rather than a man in a dress is such a big backwards step. Little kids seeing girls with short hair as probably identifying as something other than as a girl is a backwards step. It's ridiculously regressive.

Maybe they will say it's hearsay. Transactivists can't argue with actual footage and screenshots.

Maybe illustrate your point with something like that?

Datun · 10/06/2025 14:42

I have to say, I'm quite shocked about the middle-aged men obsession with Teen Vogue.

It's one thing suspecting that Teen Vogue have no boundaries, and are presenting inappropriate material to teenagers.

It's quite another realising it's all bloody deliberate to cater to adult men's sexual appetite, using teenage girls as the means to do it.

Although now I understand why the how to have anal sex guide had diagrams of boys' and girls' genitals, but left off the clitoris entirely from the girls' diagram. Any potential pleasure a girl might have was totally ignored.

Not to mention the fact that sex of any description is completely illegal for a significant portion of their apparent readership.

Not only was Germaine Greer right. She fucking underestimated it.

SionnachRuadh · 10/06/2025 14:45

Well yes, if Teen Vogue was a person you'd want to check their hard drive.

A few years ago now I saw a trailer for a tv programme that was about middle aged men (I think they were Japanese) who were absolutely obsessed by teen girl singers.

In what I now think of as the "before times", i.e before I knew about genderism, malaga airport etc, I would have thought these men were fantasising about abusing those girls but knowing what I know now it struck me that they were probably fantasising about being those girls being abused by men like them - an even more horrific level of horror.

This is why the now infamous scene with Sam Rockwell in the latest season of The White Lotus is so on point. Once you see it you can't unsee it.

ArabellaScott · 10/06/2025 14:58

I find these people baffling. He wants the same things as he did when he was four- things that are not possible. How the hell have we managed to end up with adults who have managed to reach adulthood without coming to terms with reality, and growing out of primary school level magical thinking. And- truly bizarre- that rather than have people politely encourage them to grow up, have people pretend they can magically become whatever they want.

Totallymessed · 10/06/2025 15:16

The primary school stage thinking combined with adult male, porn soaked perversions is truly grotesque.

WhatterySquash · 10/06/2025 15:18

Why does this boil your p so much?*

This is at the heart of the disingenuousness of the whole piece, and of the similar tactic as used by the genderwoo lobby as a whole.

"Why are you so angry, mean and intolerant about me having fun, being who I wanted to be when I was 4, celebrating my body, liking bratz dolls in the privacy of my own home, having a happy life?"
(and of course "just wanting to pee")

We're not. Of course we're not. We actually are happy for you to indulge your own fantasies and tastes and ideas about who you are, while you're not taking anything from anyone else and not lying about your sex.

We are just not happy about "woman" being defined as inclusive of males for situations where sex matters - prisons, hospital wards, changing rooms, sports, prizes, breastfeeding support, intimate care and so on.

But of course these articles and interviews are always twisted to try to make GC people appear angry and intolerant about perfectly innocent lovely behaviours and people "being themselves".

They never say "Why are you so angry and intolerant about women being forced to share supposedly safe spaces with rapists" or "Why are you so angry and intolerant about lesbians being kicked out of apps and organisations if they say they're only interested in females?" or "Why are you so angry and intolerant about girls being unable to win in their sports categories and males taking their medals and prize money and scholarships?" It's obvious why. They have to lie and twist reality to paint feminists as "mean".

We see you JD we are not that thick.

JeremiahBullfrog · 10/06/2025 15:27

I thought his Doctor Who (which I was dreading) was actually quite good; he managed to avoid including any teenage sex fantasies and didn't even try to push a trans agenda. Weirdly the one character who was somewhat trans-coded was also an insane genocidal terrorist, so I wonder if Dawson is trying to tell us something...

The quote of Veronica Ivy, (or whatever current name was the one at the time, he's been through a few,) has always stuck with me - that he expected lesbian women to 'learn to cope' with sex with men who identified as women.

That said it all.

There was no consideration or expectation of those women's pleasure or even willing consent, never mind enthusiastic consent - this was merely a duty he ordained that they must learn to endure by being in possession of a lesbian woman's body men have entitlement to. Basically the provision of free sex work, to be suffered through. Because all that mattered was that a man was enabled to use a lesbian woman's body for his own gratification.

There really is no more needed to know about these men. If Dawson was not the currently fashionable 'trans', no one would have the faintest interest in or tolerance for any of the incel nonsense he comes out with. Robin White and the fox botherer equally make plain on a daily basis that they will be stunned, appalled and outraged when the ECHR has to explain that human rights belong to women as well and not merely to enable special men to use women without inconvenience.
