Dawson is making very little sense in this article, but the woman-hatred is very clear.

'My view is that despite the law being very clear, actually, a few very determined transphobes have crawled their way to the heart of the law like maggots in an apple. '

"While so far, nothing has changed in law, there’s sufficient confusion that lesbians are being challenged in Boston restrooms"

Boston Lincolnshire?

what is a restroom? Is it like a waiting room?

Merrymouse · 10/06/2025 07:51

"I share in the confusion: I changed my passport in 2015, but now I can’t get a visa to the USA for my book tour unless I say I’m male?"

I don't think the British government has had any jurisdiction in America since 1776

LadyBracknellsHandbagg · 10/06/2025 07:53

Another mediocre, self obsessed man, talking nonsense.

Shedmistress · 10/06/2025 07:54

Weird how they all seem to care really deeply about lesbians [recently] being stopped in toilets, but not about being able to just sleep with females of their choosing. Gosh.

TeamKenwood · 10/06/2025 07:55

“I just want to live my life the way I always imagined it. I have become the version of myself I wanted to be when I was four. This is who I wanted to be. I wear what I want, and eat what I want. I have two dogs and spend my money on expensive cocktails and rare Bratz dolls from 2001”

All women are to this movement are a set of stereotypes.

Oh well definitely a woman then. No idea why those maggotty feminists are banging on about structural inequality, gendered expectations, and chromosomes. Probably just bigots I guess.

Strawberryvodka · 10/06/2025 07:57

Yes quite right @TeamKenwood you’re spot on.

Igneococcus · 10/06/2025 08:00

Another mediocre, self obsessed man, talking nonsense.

Nobody would listen to a word he says if he wouldn't claim to be a woman.

Taytoface · 10/06/2025 08:04

These people have been lied to. They should never have been told that the world would view and accept them as being of the opposite sex, falsification of official records should never have been supported. They only got so far as they did because of #nodebate. When your arguments have never been tested it was always going to be hugely painful when this happened.

Same, but I haven’t wasted NHS money on surgery and claimed to be the opposite sex. I just “live my truth” in the female body I was born with, I just don’t conform to stupid gender stereotypes.

I’m so done with these spoilt boys trying to mansplain womanhood.

Shortshriftandlethal · 10/06/2025 08:05

So used to talking shit and having everyone believe, and hang on, every word of it. The standards of comprehension, knowledege and veracity are very low. They've been getting by by sounding confident - but the actual content is drivel.

BettyFilous · 10/06/2025 08:05

Meh. Juno has a book to promote, a book which is unlikely to trouble the bestsellers list. Juno is saying controversial things to get media coverage. This is not a new tack for these activist writers.

Merrymouse · 10/06/2025 08:08

"Look, I can’t speak for all trans women, but I just want to live my life the way I always imagined it. I have become the version of myself I wanted to be when I was four. This is who I wanted to be. I wear what I want, and eat what I want. I have two dogs and spend my money on expensive cocktails and rare Bratz dolls from 2001. Choices."

The capitalist, male chauvinist, dream.

However, to access basic rights like education, economic independence and health care, women need rights that men don't, and to protect those rights, they need legislation that clearly describes them, otherwise the Equality Act can't function.

(Is this movement really supposed to be progressive?)

LeftieRightsHoarder · 10/06/2025 08:10

Trans-identifying man sees women as less than human. Not exactly a revelation, but nice of him to spell it out for those who hadn’t yet caught on.

Ah, but is it the “one bad apple” that we’re always accused of blaming for everything.

PriOn1 · 10/06/2025 08:27

Oh and… aged four again. Four really has become the magic number for these men, hasn’t it?

Nobody was stopping JD from doing those things before - and no matter what he does he is a man doing those things.

Igmum · 10/06/2025 08:29

Not going to click on the link because it sounds dire. JD can carry on living his lovely life and collecting his dolls. No problem. Just don’t come into women’s toilets or stop women having access to single sex rape shelters. Sorted.

ArabellaScott · 10/06/2025 08:30

terryleather · 10/06/2025 08:27

Exactly. Nobody wants your Bratz dolls, mate.

Why am I not living in a tree house like I imagined when I was 4? With a pet elephant?
Because I grew up and have many responsibilities.

No one is saying he can’t collect dolls, or drink cocktails. We are saying stay out of women’s spaces and live your best life like that.

Sure, but I don't think the dehumanising rhetoric is just deliberate rage farming, surely? To me that speaks of very deep seated prejudice.

Enough4me · 10/06/2025 08:32

If the ideology didn't exist he'd have fallen at the first hurdles, bruised but mentally functioning. He's been celebrated for lying and now cannot join normal life.
Someone must be to blame...aha, women who know the truth!

Noting the story about lesbians in Boston getting challenged in loos.

Noting absence of stories of trans identifying males having any issues in the men's loos.

Noting absence of the fact that trans identifying females now have pregnancy and maternity rights protected in the UK.

One lesbian, in Boston USA I believe. Allegedly.
