Dawson is making very little sense in this article, but the woman-hatred is very clear.

The other point about women having the 'courage' to use male pronouns for Dawson does have some truth. I would be extremely wary of Dawson were I to meet him. I would be unlikely to say anything that might make him angry, given his history of using dehumanising and overwrought rhetoric towards women.

This is so true.

So that's two posts that MN has "hidden" now until they can have a look at them

Hmmmm.....👀

I read a Juno book once before I knew who Juno was. That’s how I learnt who Juno was as you could tell from the book. Juno would write quite decent fiction if Juno could only leave out the women hating horrible transphobes are endangering delicate vulnerable caring traumatised transwomen who just want to help people as a key theme.

Really? You don't think the part where the evil terf was burned alive by her peers was a completely reasonable narrative device? 😂

(Assuming you're talking about the coven book - you're being very kind to suggest Juno could write quite decent fiction)

My link is pre James Dawson “coming out” and shows that he’s a fairly well built muscular man. Not everyone is going to feel comfortable being honest with him. It doesn’t mean they see him as a woman.

Merrymouse · 10/06/2025 09:44

TipsyRaven247 · 10/06/2025 09:23

I stand corrected. She is a fully transitioned transgender woman.
However, I doubt that all those posters using male pronouns to refer to her would have the gall to do so in her presence

Edited

Of course I wouldn't use third person pronouns's in somebody's presence.

It would be very rude.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 10/06/2025 09:45

I’m not sure why my post was hidden, it’s just a book blog from 2015 with a photo of esteemed YA author James!

I'm guessing it's because both you and I posted links that include photos of James Dawson

Exactly this.

I avoid angry men who use violent and derogatory language towards women because I know only too well that often manifests itself into actual anger, rage or violence. I would give this man a very wide berth because I have no wish to have anything to do with misogynistic dickheads.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 10/06/2025 09:50

That link was simply a link to an interview announcing that JD had joined Glamour as a “transgender” columnist! Fully validating. But has a picture of JD with all the muscles.

Helleofabore · 10/06/2025 09:53

And we already can see that to this author who fulfils his fantasies in writing but that the writing is aimed at teenager, including gang rape escape fantasies violence and degradation towards girls and women is not restricted to his novels.

It is really indefensible.

But let's consider if we did not use male pronouns for this author and used 'she/her' all the way through the thread and said 'woman' instead of 'man'. Then anyone reading would be wondering what the fuck has the world come to that a female ex-primary PHSE teacher, one who should fucking know all about children's boundaries, especially around sex, was writing porn aimed at teenagers.

And yet... we are obnoxious for pronouns and bluntly stating that 'gender affirming care' is plastic surgery. You really couldn't make it up. Some one actually is trying to distract from what should be fucking indefensible.

It's not about seeing him as a woman, is it? It's about acquiescing and doing as we're told.

I am concerned about these hidden posts.

Are they on a list to go directly into hidden mode. Or is this thread being separated out for special moderation so any links will be moderated?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 10/06/2025 09:55

Anyway, if anyone wants to see why women might be intimidated by JD, many pictures are available, including ones JD has presumably sanctioned in the many sympathetic interviews by gushing sycophants, with a ten second google.

This. As we can see from what’s going on on this thread.

Did exactly that as soon as I saw hidden posts. Saw way more photos via Google than the one you tried to post. Thanks mods👋

Yep, it’s not hard to see why some women might be persuaded to bow down to Dawson’s demands.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 10/06/2025 10:01

I think this is an example of what genderists think “privacy” should mean. That men who identify as women should be able to post pictures of their muscles all over the internet and call women maggots, but we can’t use these things to argue why they don’t belong in women’s spaces.

Thelnebriati · 10/06/2025 10:03

The headline is interesting. I wonder if there's going to be a push towards 'true trans' and women having to meet them in the middle.

Most TRAs won’t get behind the true trans, I don’t think.

I don't think it's possible.

Per the ECHR, it is not legal to insist that sterilisation is a route to gender recognition.

Helleofabore · 10/06/2025 10:11

I was just reading about this male ex-primary school PHSE teacher and the response to his LGBT guide, including sex education published a decade ago.

“In 2015, when you read of people comparing gay people to paedophiles you just despair,” said the novelist. “I always think, as a community, we’ve come so far and achieved so much, but then you read something like that and realise there is still such small-mindedness and hatred left to contend with.”

And then.... wrote a novel for teens that included a male character that the reader is supposed to believe is a 'girl' servicing married men from the neighbouring towns. ie. adults having sex with minors. And that book was also just as celebrated as the first.

Quite. I might not refer to him as a man in his presence, but that's because I'd be afraid he'd batter me, not because I believe he's a woman.

There certainly seems to be a push towards that, yep.

Focus on men who've had surgery to remove their penises. As if this makes them any more female.

Because, of course, nobody can tell if someone has had their penis removed. A bloke remains a bloke, his height, shoulder span, weight, gait, arm reach, punching strength, etc, are unaffected by having his penis removed.

It doesn't make any difference whether a man claims to have had surgery or not. It's entirely irrelevant.
