I thought I’d report back - a brief chat yesterday - my neighbour (previously not particularly interested or engaged with gender issues) heard this on the weekend catch up. She brought this up unprompted. Her response to the segment can be summarised as “err no” (with widened eyes and a head shake for emphasis) and promptly cancelled her subscription to Amnesty!

I wonder how big the dip rate has been after that appearance?

It was so unimpressive. It's not just that he was wrong, he was wrong it such an unimpressive way. It was really surprising for someone in charge of such an important charity.

Yes. He sounded uninformed about the whole thing which raises the question why didn't he send a representative from Amnesty who was well informed.

I wonder if it's because the MRA's are now having to engage in logical conversations with people who are presenting facts to them and just saying "trans women are women" over and over doesn't cut it anymore.
