This pub really does know how to throw an impromptu party. Nice to be let off marshmallow toasting duties for once too.

Now can some gerbils get on with tidying the garden after last nights party.

The goats have cleared up all the edibles (and by ‘edible’ they mean rather more than most animals would). We sometimes forget about them but there’s a reason they were one of the first animals to arrive at the Bluestocking.

Ds1 has a bet on with his dad. He has said that, by the time he is 40, he will have owned a goat for a whole year - and if not, he'll pay dh £50. It'll probably only buy a Mars bar, but we are looking forward to this windfall. 😂😂😂
