He's taking all your hundreds of thousands of pounds, but he can't tell you what he's doing with it cause seckrit.

And he knows all the best seckrit people who are humungosly good lawyers.

And he's got a skeleton key to the morals of the universe! By the power of Transkull!

‘We have been given a huge responsibility’ | Good Law Project

A message from our executive director, Jolyon Maugham, to the trans community.

We must explain ourselves to you. But sometimes, for us to tell you about litigation we are supporting will be the wrong thing to do. To give our cases the best chance of succeeding – in a world in which parts of the judiciary are conspicuously hostile to us and the trans community – they must happen away from the limelight. We will tell you about them when we can but that will sometimes be when they are over.

If Jolyon wasn't doing this, he'd be using Brad Pitt's face on his dating profile, talking to his victims online and saying how he was in masses of financial trouble but he couldn't tell us what otherwise we'd be at risk from the gangs and if we don't help him he's going to get murdered.

Oh and telling all his victims just how much he's fallen in love with them and how he planned to move to the UK to be with us. Only he's currently having problems with his divorce settlement and the home office are being dicks about his visa.

Before giving his sort code for his Nigerian bank account.

Jesus wept. When someone starts this crap, do they really not think 'SCAM'?!

I'll identify as a lawyer for £68k. How hard can it be?

I’d go for it. In this area some lawyers seem to make it up as they go along so I think you’d be fine.

On a more genuine note posters on X have commented under recent videos that he really doesn’t look great and I would have to agree. It can’t be good mentally to be so involved in an area professionally that is so closely linked to your personal life.

AnneLovesGilbert · 01/05/2025 22:35

This is a joyous thread, thank you everyone 😂

I haven’t read all of his drivel yet but I particularly enjoyed this:

JK Rowling is, in this life at least, accountable to no one for how she spends her billions

It’s quite clear she enjoys using her billions to protect and defend women, and cigars and cocktails. Bloody good for her. “In this life” is just epic 😂😂😂

Well it’s all good as far as I’m concerned. The more money the kids donate to JM’s pension pot, the less they can spend on mastectomies in Sweden or Oestrogen from Vanuatu.

Is that cos Thailand banned them?

”We have employed a leading journalist to talk of the pain caused by the Supreme Court’s clumsy social engineering.”

A fiver says it’s LOJ. Although “leading” would be doing a lot of heavy lifting.

Love the intimation that JKR is going to face some sort of judgment day and come off the worse for it. Funding charities left right and centre as well as being a celebrated author credited with encouraging children to read. Yup, it’s the last circle of hell for you, love Hmm

Bluebootsgreenboots · 01/05/2025 22:46

@RedToothBrush Have they? I’d not heard that, good news if so. I did hear that the supply of meds from Russia petered out a couple of years ago. Funny that.

Megan1971 · 01/05/2025 22:47

His citation made me laugh out loud.

I wrote, in ‘Bringing Down Goliath’ (Penguin, 2024), about how advocacy for trans people has opened my eyes to how the world is for people without my privilege.

Some of the old Hubbard tapes are wild, especially when El-Ron talks about astrally projecting onto other planets and tells us all about the railroads on Venus.

Jolyon hasn't reached that level of entertainment yet. But he's trying.

Well he’s working on the radar key to the new universe, I’m sure as soon as he gets it he will be through to join him.

Is there a correlation between lawyers and being a trans woman? There seem to be an awful lot of them. 👀

In all my working years I can't say it's ever been a thing I've come across up North - apart from a sex offender in a bobble hat and dress. And he doesn't really count as a proper legal bod.

It seems to be mediocre older white men trying to get themselves noticed because their legal ability is somewhat meh. Putting a frock on later in life detracts from the lack of legal brain I guess.

MistyGreenAndBlue · 01/05/2025 22:50

Anyone who falls for that load of horseshit, deserves everything they get.

A fool and their money are soon parted.

Well it's banned before age 18 thanks to Susie. And 18 - 20 years old males need parental consent.

They definitely didn’t get on at one point. Maybe Zoe Williams instead 😂

LaMontser · 01/05/2025 22:58

I mean if he didn’t exist we’d have to invent him.

Everything since the judgement has been a huge tantrum. Which we experienced anyway but it’s great that it’s peaking so many others.

JKR lives rent free in so many of their heads, but they’re totally not jealous of her because she rich and successful and funny and smart. Nope, in fact they’re actually more successful when you think about it actually because failing at everything makes them stronger and better and more beautiful actually.

Thanks for all the money suckers. We can’t tell you what we’re spending it on because the baddies might find out. But also please donate monthly because the baddies are richer because evil. Boo. Hiss. Etc.

Im really looking forward to serious journalist articles expressing the hurt feelings of the penis ladies. It’s especially important when hardly any news coverage recently has focused on on that at all.

Knob.

Seems a good place to mention that hilarious review of his book, the opening sentence of his book being ..
'The life I have is hard, but I got to choose it, and the road that brought me here I did not.'

I'm not sure Jo Maugham is quite well
JoanOgden · 01/05/2025 23:02

I'm excited about these top secret legal cases he's planning. Is he familiar with the principle of open justice?

I tried to read his Goliath book but - my dear - the prose! It was truly dreadful. Like today's page of self-righteous waffle but going on for 200 pages HmmSadConfused

Poverty porn, also known as pornography of poverty, famine porn, or stereotype porn, has been defined as "any type of media, be it written, photographed or filmed, which exploits the poor's condition in order to generate the necessary sympathy for selling newspapers, increasing charitable donations, or support for a given cause". It also suggests that the viewer of the exploited protagonists is motivated by gratification of base instincts. It is also a term of criticism applied to films that objectify people in poverty for the sake of entertaining a privileged audience

Oh dear.

Won't someone think of the poor starving transkids in Africa and donate to my GoFundMe so I feel better about my privilege.

"those who don’t cohere to patriarchal archetypes"

Idiot speaks fluent idiot.

Quelle surprise.

We have teams engaged and working on about twenty legal initiatives.

About 20? What, did you lose count at 19 or something?

saltandvinegarchipsticks · 01/05/2025 23:09

A barrister once told me that one of the most common professions for narcissists and psychopaths was barrister.

I don’t think he was wrong.

RinkyDinkDrink · 01/05/2025 23:13

This statement is greatly enhanced if you imagine the whole thing in the voice of Moira Rose.

’I know how har-ard much of this mun-nay has been to ur-ern because you have told may. And we must spennnd it wise-lay’

RinkyDinkDrink · 01/05/2025 23:14

It’s not often a statement would be improved by AI but this is one of those times.

Thelnebriati · 01/05/2025 23:16

“William James describes a man who got the experience from laughing-gas; whenever he was under its influence, he knew the secret of the universe, but when he came to, he had forgotten it.
At last, with immense effort, he wrote down the secret before the vision had faded. When completely recovered, he rushed to see what he had written. It was ''A smell of petroleum prevails throughout'.”
