"The illegitimate Hodge Ruling from the Supreme Court last week was the final step too far."

I don't know who any of signatories are, but they aren't going to get very far with that.

I would love to know in what way it's illegitimate!!! And how the Cass Review is fraudulent!

Good luck to them.

I have to say, thanks OP that's given me a right good chuckle.

Aizen · 24/04/2025 19:37

I knew all along it was a mental health issue.

Doyoumind · 24/04/2025 19:38

I'd like to get my red pen on it for a start but what ridiculous and hyperbolic demands.

It's a perfect example of the trans community wanting more rights than every other person ever.

highame · 24/04/2025 19:38

A letter lacking in thought, perhaps.

SloppyThePoodle · 24/04/2025 19:40

Also re the "peaceful protests" over Easter, wasn't someone holding up a sign that said "the only good terf is a dead terf"?
They are mad. I can almost feel them frothing at the mouth as I read this bullet pointed nonsense.

yourhairiswinterfire · 24/04/2025 19:41

The Supreme Court is transphobic, its judges are transphobic, the EHRC is transphobic, the NHS is transphobic, the civil service is transphobic, the Charity Commission is transphobic, the Cass review is transphobic, the Ministry of Justice is transphobic, the media is transphobic, driving licences, birth certificates and marriage certificates are transphobic, people being allowed their own opinions is transphobic, any MP who refuses to agree with us is transphobic, the world and her dog are transphobic...

Chaps, come the fuck on now. Have you considered that it's much more likely that it's actually you with the problem here? Other people have rights, the world doesn't revolve around you. Fucking hell, get a grip.

RedToothBrush · 24/04/2025 19:42

titchy · 24/04/2025 19:34

Thcweam and thcweam until they’re thick?

I liked the bit

The whole ruling is beyond corrupt, and represents a gross miscarriage of justice that needs to be independently investigated by the international courts.

I mean, they really really really want Reform to be elected don't they?!

They didn't need to thcweam to be thick did they?

Igneococcus · 24/04/2025 19:42

titchy · 24/04/2025 19:34

Thcweam and thcweam until they’re thick?

That sounds worse for them than for any of us (pops in noise-cancelling headphones)

This one? Was the first thing it made me think of!

www.tumblr.com/edinburghath/163521055802/trans-health-manifesto

Yes, that's the bad boy.

IstayhomeonFridaynight · 24/04/2025 19:48

They're not gonna take it anymore - but what will they do when they don't get their voucher for 200 hours of electrolysis and free boob job if hormones haven't made their breasts as big as they'd like? And Wes is still Min for Health, and they can't vote for their own 'minority interest' MPs.

So many demands but no threats on what will happen if they're not agreed. Are they all going on strike - where will Brighton cafes get interesting baristas from? Armed resurection, to overthrow corrupt government and courts ? Or scream and scream until they're sick?

The statement is bizzare, I'd recommend clicking on it, quite breathtaking entitlement.

Helleofabore · 24/04/2025 19:50

Is this like another manifesto? Super stuff.

Operation: Let them speak

murasaki · 24/04/2025 19:51

As a rule, if you want to be taken seriously, don't be ridiculous.

Some people clearly missed the memo.

Gattopardo · 24/04/2025 19:52

Laughable to the point I wonder if it’s meant to be laughable.

one thing that really struck me is the fact that under NHS treatements highlighted as being necessary, 3 of 4 are only really of relevance to trans women - breast augmentation, electrolysis and facial surgery. I’m pretty sure not many trans men have facial surgery or would require electrolysis. My moustache and chin hair would be a positive asset to me in the unlikely event I decide to identify as a man….

NPET · 24/04/2025 19:54

"3rd class unpersons" ??????

Unlikely re laughable, they are deadly serious. Deadly, I tell you. People will literally die.

mumda · 24/04/2025 19:56

You can't always get what you want.

The insanity there is strong.

Helleofabore · 24/04/2025 19:59

Oh yay!!

”Addition of restrictions to the protected characteristic of ‘Religion and Belief’ to ensure that this avenue can never be used to strip other protected characteristics of rights ever again.

Brilliant! More evidence that they know very well there is no biological markers of any kind in common for having a transgender identity. I look forward to the ludicrous arguments we see on MN by some people stopping.

Gattopardo · 24/04/2025 20:00

“Daddy, I want another pony”

mrshoho · 24/04/2025 20:07

And as we tell tiny children having temper tantrums "I want, doesn't get!"

Honestly this must be a joke. If not would parts of it be considered libellous.

HipTightOnions · 24/04/2025 20:11

Ludicrous of course, but these are the people our institutions have been pandering to.

Gretnaglebe · 24/04/2025 20:12

They need to get Dawn Butler to recite the lyrics if ‘Something inside so strong’ yet again

For balance, I’d say that some of those institutions or organisations have been deeply anti-woman - eg NHS, media, birth certificates (if you consider the GRA), ministry of justice, the media plus many, many others and I don’t think it’s women that were the problem!
