a list of men or companies who have stood up for us

Like so many here, I have been disheartened by the lack of support from so many famous men, those I liked and or admired are now and will forever be in my blacklist. Same for companies.
This whole experience has been so hard and I thank all the incredible women who carried on and spoke for us...
However, who are the men who were on our side? Andrew Neil? Piers Morgan? There aren't many but would love to hear some names of those who put women first...

There are lots of bubbles.

For example someone called Marc Lawrence has been plugging away on Quora for years. I don't know much about him other than he is Christian, but he expresses clear views and allows contradictory comments which he then rebuts. During lockdown when so much of the internet was captured and when few sites would allow alternative views, his was a welcome voice.

I would add an honourable shout out to Toby Young. A bit of a Marmite figures but when he finds his guns he sticks to them. Free speech underlies the ability to have societal debate on key issues, and the Free Speech Union has carried out important work, supporting GC women and allowing their voices to be heard.

Just remembered Stephen Nolan, the BBC NI broadcaster who did the investigative Stonewall podcast a couple of years ago. God knows how he got it through the BBC barbed wire, but it really got a lot people talking about the influence of this organisation and questioning its motives and credibility.

I have only just caught up with the brilliant 10 part podcast Stephen Nolan has done on Stonewall etc This was back in 2021 & he completely gets it & skewers Stonewall & the way they overreached with their interpretation of the law & the way they have totally captured institutions like the BBC.

Unfortunately he then went on to say a number of misogynistic and offensive things that took the shine off him, and he also felt the might of the translobby and had quite a difficult time, according to someone I knew at the time who worked with him.

What did he say?

ARLA dairies. Anyone remember?

What did ARLA do?

I liked the way he asked the Stonewall guy what "2 spirit" gender meant and they were unable to answer.

I notice a few posters eschewing some of the men opposing Trans “rights” as right wing.

In the case of Trump, Johnson and Peterson, they are not maligned as right-wing. They are being called out for their past misogynistic actions and comments (and rape as well, for Trump). It's possible for them to be aware of the material reality where one's birth sex might matter and still be misogynistic.

Edited

Just curious as to what Peterson is being called out for exactly?

Well he's a massive blowhard and that's obviously not a nice thing to say. But perhaps actions speak louder than words in this case.

His rapey actions you mean? Can we not pretend that Donald trump is anything but a virulent sexual predator and a diehard misogynistic please. There’s really no need for this level of overreach.
