Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth

Purpose.

Ideologues who deny the biological reality of sex have increasingly used legal and other socially coercive means to permit men to self-identify as women and gain access to intimate single-sex spaces and activities designed for women, from women’s domestic abuse shelters to women’s workplace showers. This is wrong. Efforts to eradicate the biological reality of sex fundamentally attack women by depriving them of their dignity, safety, and well-being. The erasure of sex in language and policy has a corrosive impact not just on women but on the validity of the entire American system. Basing Federal policy on truth is critical to scientific inquiry, public safety, morale, and trust in government itself.

This unhealthy road is paved by an ongoing and purposeful attack against the ordinary and longstanding use and understanding of biological and scientific terms, replacing the immutable biological reality of sex with an internal, fluid, and subjective sense of self unmoored from biological facts. Invalidating the true and biological category of “woman” improperly transforms laws and policies designed to protect sex-based opportunities into laws and policies that undermine them, replacing longstanding, cherished legal rights and values with an identity-based, inchoate social concept.

This will defend women’s rights and protect freedom of conscience by using clear and accurate language and policies that recognize women are biologically female, and men are biologically male.

Policy and Definitions.

The policy is to recognize two sexes, male and female. These sexes are not changeable and are grounded in fundamental and incontrovertible reality:

(a) “Sex” shall refer to an individual’s immutable biological classification as either male or female. “Sex” is not a synonym for and does not include the concept of “gender identity.”

(b) “Women” or “woman” and “girls” or “girl” shall mean adult and juvenile human females, respectively.

(c) “Men” or “man” and “boys” or “boy” shall mean adult and juvenile human males, respectively.

(d) “Female” means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell.

(e) “Male” means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the small reproductive cell.

(f) “Gender ideology” replaces the biological category of sex with an ever-shifting concept of self-assessed gender identity, permitting the false claim that males can identify as and thus become women and vice versa, and requiring all institutions of society to regard this false claim as true. Gender ideology includes the idea that there is a vast spectrum of genders that are disconnected from one’s sex. Gender ideology is internally inconsistent, in that it diminishes sex as an identifiable or useful category but nevertheless maintains that it is possible for a person to be born in the wrong sexed body.

(g) “Gender identity” reflects a fully internal and subjective sense of self, disconnected from biological reality and sex and existing on an infinite continuum, that does not provide a meaningful basis for identification and cannot be recognized as a replacement for sex.

Recognizing Women Are Biologically Distinct From Men.

Every news outlet is reporting this as anti trans legisliaton.

Not one has reported it is about women's rights.

That's why I started this thread, although there are others as hoping the search engines will pick it up.

Seems that women's rights are so unimportant to anyone, that even when there is a political statement about them, the media reports it is about something else.

I made no comment about your personal race or heritage. I simply pointed out that gender critical feminism is an overwhelmingly white, middle class, British brand of feminism. It is . As in most prevalent in white, middle class, British communities. These are demographic realities. Not to say that all GC feminists are these things obviously.

Also tracks with the appreciation of trump’s policies of course.

Some of us might be disabled. Being hospitalised is a more common occurrence and unfortunately hospitals are a place of sexual assaults. So it is extremely important to have as many single sex spaces as possible.

Shockingly, I also have a slight suspicion that Lost is not posting in good faith. I am almost tempted to say that they are just here to lecture anyone who is not a 'true believer'. They could be trying to berate and cow any female person who does not accept males with special woman feels... or maybe the aim is to bore us to death. Who knows?

I would like to say 'no'.

I don't care if the male with feels is the nicest person on the planet who is a true selfless altruist, or a dangerous phychopath in the manner of BTK (or indeed anything in between those two extremes). I don't care. Male people should not be in single sex spaces designed for female people.

Not in good faith? Honestly, I am. Shocked, I tell you. Shocked! But Lost has been posting in good faith for a whole two days now.

How would you know? Do you speak any other languages or have in depth knowledge of another country outside Europe or the US? Do you know if women in other parts of the world are gc feminists? Do you understand how it manifests in other countries?

No.

I simply pointed out that gender critical feminism is an overwhelmingly white, middle class, British brand of feminism.

If by gender critical you mean feminism that campaigns exclusively for the rights of biological women, this is the dominant form of feminism worldwide and has been thus for the past century.

If you're living in a society where you're at severe risk of rape or FGM or honour killings or being exiled to a cold mountain hut during your period, you're probably not all that focused on campaigning for the rights of male bodied people.

I like how you just confidently answered no to alll those questions after only moments ago falsely accusing me of making assumptions about your personal background 🥴

Oop and now here we are back to trans people are perverts.

You have accidentally forgotten that some transwomen have openly discussed their AGP. It's not a secret that it exists.

Is Lost implying that if someone is white and middle class that we shouldn't listen to them? Or that they are bad people by virtue of being white and/or middle class?

Myalternate · 28/01/2025 00:42

I don’t think Lostcat has an interest in women at all.

Play the ball not the player, they said.

Oh, except if they're a white middle class British feminist. Then they clearly support Trump on everything and should not be listened to.

oop sorry I didn’t within nano seconds read the bbc article you posted about how lack of toilets causes rape in India. It must be because I have no interest whatsoever in women’s lives outside the uk. Or maybe it’s because I once again - against my better judgements and best efforts to resist - got dragged into wasting the day arguing with a bunch of GCFs on mumsnet , instead of doing what I should be doing which is finishing this piece of research I’m currently writing up about sexual violence in Syria. 🫠

Did I say that? I think I was just drawing attention to the realities of the demographic patterns here. Since you brought that issue into the debate- with (yet again) completely counter factual claims.

I don't think you've got the first clue what "demographic patterns" are here. Lots of assumptions though. But to be expected.

I very much doubt I'm any more middle class than you are for instance. Or even "as".

It wasn't me that posted it. So no need for the childish sarcasm.

Research on sexual violence in Syria you say? I'm all ears! I assume the women there can just identify out of being female and avoid it? If not why not?

If it's academic research you know they're looking for well reasoned arguments, clarity and robust sources, right?
Something to think about, perhaps.
