Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth

Purpose.

Ideologues who deny the biological reality of sex have increasingly used legal and other socially coercive means to permit men to self-identify as women and gain access to intimate single-sex spaces and activities designed for women, from women’s domestic abuse shelters to women’s workplace showers. This is wrong. Efforts to eradicate the biological reality of sex fundamentally attack women by depriving them of their dignity, safety, and well-being. The erasure of sex in language and policy has a corrosive impact not just on women but on the validity of the entire American system. Basing Federal policy on truth is critical to scientific inquiry, public safety, morale, and trust in government itself.

This unhealthy road is paved by an ongoing and purposeful attack against the ordinary and longstanding use and understanding of biological and scientific terms, replacing the immutable biological reality of sex with an internal, fluid, and subjective sense of self unmoored from biological facts. Invalidating the true and biological category of “woman” improperly transforms laws and policies designed to protect sex-based opportunities into laws and policies that undermine them, replacing longstanding, cherished legal rights and values with an identity-based, inchoate social concept.

This will defend women’s rights and protect freedom of conscience by using clear and accurate language and policies that recognize women are biologically female, and men are biologically male.

Policy and Definitions.

The policy is to recognize two sexes, male and female. These sexes are not changeable and are grounded in fundamental and incontrovertible reality:

(a) “Sex” shall refer to an individual’s immutable biological classification as either male or female. “Sex” is not a synonym for and does not include the concept of “gender identity.”

(b) “Women” or “woman” and “girls” or “girl” shall mean adult and juvenile human females, respectively.

(c) “Men” or “man” and “boys” or “boy” shall mean adult and juvenile human males, respectively.

(d) “Female” means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell.

(e) “Male” means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the small reproductive cell.

(f) “Gender ideology” replaces the biological category of sex with an ever-shifting concept of self-assessed gender identity, permitting the false claim that males can identify as and thus become women and vice versa, and requiring all institutions of society to regard this false claim as true. Gender ideology includes the idea that there is a vast spectrum of genders that are disconnected from one’s sex. Gender ideology is internally inconsistent, in that it diminishes sex as an identifiable or useful category but nevertheless maintains that it is possible for a person to be born in the wrong sexed body.

(g) “Gender identity” reflects a fully internal and subjective sense of self, disconnected from biological reality and sex and existing on an infinite continuum, that does not provide a meaningful basis for identification and cannot be recognized as a replacement for sex.

Recognizing Women Are Biologically Distinct From Men.

Every news outlet is reporting this as anti trans legisliaton.

Not one has reported it is about women's rights.

That's why I started this thread, although there are others as hoping the search engines will pick it up.

Seems that women's rights are so unimportant to anyone, that even when there is a political statement about them, the media reports it is about something else.

Really? I thought this whole thread was about his excellent EO supposedly championing the rights of women.

What was it you said earlier about play the player not the ball?

Trump didn’t write that executive order and he didn’t have someone else write it because he’s a feminist, we know he’s not, but it protects women’s single sex spaces from males and returns fairness to women in sport. I’m not sure why you are surprised that women are glad it had happened .

it doesn’t mean we support Trump.

but you know that.

Myalternate · 28/01/2025 00:01

Rape is caused by men who commit rape.

So if a Transwoman commits rape you acknowledge they’re men?

Trans people are not the problem male bodied people are the problem whether or not they are trans.

And all trans women have “male bodies” right? And its the trans women who are trying to get into women’s spaces right? (Or the trans pretenders- and after all what’s the difference). Ergo… what exactly?

Yes all trans women have male bodies, having fake breasts or any other body modification doesn’t make a body female.

no male bodied person should be in spaces for females.

but you know that

you inexplicably keep telling me I know things I don’t know at all.

It’s like earlier when I’d write something like “there’s nothing wrong with being trans, we should include trans people in public spaces”. And you’d respond something like: “so in other words you hate women and want us all to be sexually assaulted”.

Baffling.

please find that post because it didn’t happen. If you don’t know that I don’t support trump it’s because you’re not paying attention. I’ve said so several times already.

You replied to that within seconds of it being posted. You can't possibly have read the article. 🙄If you had you would have learned that it's the lack of toilets and the need for women and girls to go outside to defecate, usually at night or in the early morning, that renders them extraordinarily vulnerable to sexual assault from men who would know that this is common practice. Or if you had even stopped to think before replying, you might have worked out why a lack of indoor toilet facilities could make attack more possible. But no, jump in with both feet and get it wrong yet again. You really aren't here to discuss in good faith, are you?

Shockingly, I also have a slight suspicion that Lost is not posting in good faith. I am almost tempted to say that they are just here to lecture anyone who is not a 'true believer'. They could be trying to berate and cow any female person who does not accept males with special woman feels... or maybe the aim is to bore us to death. Who knows?

I would like to say 'no'.

I don't care if the male with feels is the nicest person on the planet who is a true selfless altruist, or a dangerous phychopath in the manner of BTK (or indeed anything in between those two extremes). I don't care. Male people should not be in single sex spaces designed for female people.

It's a noticeably common characteristic of TRAs that they pay zero attention to women's lives outside the UK/US bubble.
Women's struggles in poorer developing countries? Forget it. India, Afghanistan, Iraq? Why should TRAs care? Those countries are miles away. Have the grace to read a whole article about women and toilets in India? Nah.

I didn’t read the article. I read the title, and pointed out it was problematic in its framing to say the least.

Oh because I don’t agree that trans people are a problem I’m racist now too 😂. That’s a creative new one.
The misogynist, homophobe, child abuser accusations- they were getting worn out eh?

(never mind of course btw that “gender critical” feminism is well known to be overwhelmingly a white, middle class, British brand of “feminism”… as usual don’t let empirical realities get in the way of your accusations )..

You literally just said you didn't read it!
I haven't said you are racist, as anyone here can see. I said TRAs show no interest in women's lives in developing countries. So if you aren't a TRA it doesn't apply to you, does it? You seem to have taken it rather personally.

BaronessEllarawrosaurus · 28/01/2025 00:18

Women are most at risk from men when they are vulnerable. Letting male trans people into single sex spaces puts Women at risk because we don't know who are the good guys and who aren't so all males regardless of identity need to stay out to protect women and also for reasons of comfort and dignity.

FlowchartRequired · 28/01/2025 00:19

So Lost, is a 14 year old female car crash victim with serious injuries request for true single sex intimate care (bed bath, wiping after using the bed pan, insertion of catheter, chane of sanitary products, etc) transphobic or anti-trans in your opinion? Or is it a perfectly reasonable request for a vulnerable individual to make?

Well they are biologically male. They can feel or identify as anything they want, but they will always be male.

Now, how about you have a think about my question regarding single sex care.

To address your edit...you have no idea of my, or anyone's, race or heritage. But don't let that get in the way of a somewhat racist assumption that all GC feminists are white and middle class! 😂

I made no comment about your personal race or heritage. I simply pointed out that gender critical feminism is an overwhelmingly white, middle class, British brand of feminism. It is . As in most prevalent in white, middle class, British communities. These are demographic realities. Not to say that all GC feminists are these things obviously.

😆

Nothing whatsoever do with being female either, if the trans person concerned has a penis.

Just some inner "cognition"(perception/feels) that he is "female" but yet oddly without any reference whatsoever to what female is or why he somehow isn't "male" despite having a cock. And knowing too that for some reason that he "belongs" in women's single sex spaces and women are not permitted to say no to him (despite the cock) but must validate his "automatic cognition" that he is female just like them at all times.

It truly is a mystery.
