Trans activists have just disrupted the annual Conference being held by LGB Alliance by releasing insects in the main hall.

These nasty individuals who seek to disrupt a peaceful conference of lesbian and gay people show themselves up to be the real bigots.

I've been looking at the numbers for a while for Mermaids.

They expanded massively and had large financial commitments through staff. Then their reputation took a hit.

Even with our the drop off in grants etc, it was always going to be unsustainable because they were so stretched and it looked like the fashionable cause of the moment.

I am deeply unsurprised by this. I'd be more surprised by them surviving financially tbh.

JustGiving will NOT take down the other crowd funder, the one due to pay out £15K, despite it clearly being used to pay for homophobic hate crimes.

Considering the group have claimed ownership of what is clearly a homophobic hate crime and are actively sourcing funds for further attacks, I really want to know how JustGiving are actually trying to justify keeping the other page up. Invest asked for clarification but am guessing I’ll just be ignored now or they’ll end up defaming the LGB Alliance like the hate group currently is.

It's not very clear what the money is for, is it? If it were raising for legal fees, I'd understand to a point. Everyone should have a right to legal representation, especially minors who have potentially been manipulated by adults, but that's really not clear.
As mentioned, if they're raising money for more attacks, then that is incredibly serious but even then I'm pretty sure crickets don't cost thousands of pounds

I think it's meant to insinuate they have more and they are planning to do it again. All the bugs from the conference are dead.

I can't see them turning up at events for women, LGB people and, what else, the DoE, DoH or any other organisation that doesn’t genuflect sufficiently at the altar of trans. (even the Guardian, ffs, is too terfy for them!) and releasing insects will end too well for them.

It’s hard to claim you are a legitimate movement against bigotry when it’s pointed out your movement were responsible for and celebrating a literal hate crime.

I sincerely hope we see more accurate reporting on this attack and that journalists are willing to call out Trans Kids Deserve Better for what it really is; a hate group (lying to terrorise trans identified kids means their claims to be TRA’s should be disregarded).
