(I don't want to call them "trans women", but I don't know what terminology gets me banned here!)

"Security guards removed five cross-dressing men, including this one, from the women's toilets at Bang Face, a dance festival at Butlin's Skegness this weekend. The men responded with a coordinated protest and the security guards have now "been removed""

Anyone up for a TERFy weekend in Butlin's?!? Wine

More censorship @MNHQ ? I will not pretend that a man is a woman. Men wearing woman face and parading round as a caricature and a parody of womanhood are still men.

These guards then called for reinforcements and several women were physically removed from the toilets.

From the reports I've seen, no women were removed, only men.

When this is all over, because I believe that one day men in women’s clothing will again just be men in women’s clothing, will the companies that bowed down to these bullies realise the unrepairable damage they have inflicted upon themselves? So many companies have just sold themselves out - John Lewis, Body Shop amongst them as well as now Butlins.

A fair amount will go bankrupt before it's all over. I'm pretty sure even the likes of m and s and j Lewis will be among the casualties.

At some future time the tipping point will happen, when every woman knows another woman who met a man in the previously womens changing room. Of course there are plenty of handmaidens to wave it away, but it wont be waved away forever.

There will be a lot of businesses in this position. Women do not forgive or forget those companies who have actively sought to suppress and harm women by aiding and abetting those who are seeking to encroach on our language, our sex based rights and spaces. The list is going to be long.

What's so daft is that in many cases they are apparently choosing to actively disenfranchise their core demographic.

Queer theory applied to marketing? Disrupt the idea of profitability being desirable?

It’s not unlike the Gnomes of South Park and the economic theory underpinning their stealing of underpants.

Currently the EDI thinking seems to run a bit like this:

Phase One: Introduce queer theory influenced policies throughout the organisation especially in customer facing departments
Phase Two: ?????
Phase Three: PROFIT

^Yes, I’m being flippant but sometimes the determination of organisations to alienate core service users, or customer groups, by implementing unsafe and bonkers policies does seem highly counterintuitive.

I’m pretty certain any hypothetical list would include:

wearing lipstick
tilting your head to one side when listening
heels
flicking your hair
only talking about shoes and handbags
always having sanpro in your handbag to offer other women in public toilets

Pillow fights and girly pyjama parties

squealing

running while waving your hands/ waving your hands while running

That picture is quite sad.

What do they think about themselves, really?do they look at that picture and think ‘pretty ‘? Or ‘female’ , or ‘fanciable’ or …..what?

I’m not pretending, I do feel really sorry, to be that messed up, to be so unhappy with one of the basic definitions of yourself, must be grim

( still doesn’t mean you should be waving your defining part around in women’s spaces, though)

I don’t feel sorry for them at all - that man is wielding a huge knife. These men are bullies and are worthy of nothing but contempt and derision.

Ha! Yes.

Does anyone know if Butlins are going to abide by the SC ruling?

Bit odd of Butlins to turn against their customer base.

It would be nice if the security guards could have an apology now.
