Unless every woman was asked whether she wanted to share the female toilets with males then it’s impossible to say for certain that the majority were happy with it. Even if they were there should have been facilities consistent with legislation that allowed them to use female-only toilets.

If it was so woke then the men would have been perfectly safe in the male toilets - but of course, that’s not what this is really about .

Security don't go into women's toilets unless there is a reason to.

We need to find away to show Butlins and the security guards the majority of the women population support the idea of women safe spaces - any ideas on how to do that?

So did someone on site make a complaint about behaviour which led to the security guards involvement? (I mean how did the security guards come to know that there were five men in the toilets? Security guards aren't generally standing on duty outside the toilets).

Then after having intervened, a bunch of people who weren't there had subsequently complained to Butlins resulting in the removal of staff?

So have Butlins talked to whoever identified the initial incident?

Or have we a scenario here were the voices of women who were directly impact have been ignored because activists have thrown a wobbler after the incident and head office has had a pen pusher make some decisions based off EDI training rather than assessment of the actual incident and what happened on the ground from all parties there.

In other words have women been silenced and told that they and their safety are less important than poor publicity?

The usual male demographic at Butlin’s wouldn’t stand for five men lingering in the women’s toilets. They’d kick them out pronto because they wouldn’t be happy for their daughters, sisters, mums, wives, female partners to go in there if a man is present. I’m guessing this is the type of holidaymaker the security guards are used to. Well done to those men for standing up for women!

The security guards can’t operate on the basis of the beliefs of different groups - “Well for this festival they believe TWAW so anyone can use the female toilets but next weekend it’s families so women and children only in the female toilets, then next Wednesday it’s drag night so again anyone female-identifying allowed in.”

I think the terminology you were looking for is 'men'

So were there no ‘gender neutral’ toilets? Because reading the apology article linked, it seemed to indicate the previous venue had some of those.

Did Butlins not have these facilities? Or did these make people choose not to use those?

If someone attending this ‘woke’ event felt sufficiently disturbed by the presence of these 5 males then I very much doubt that they went into the Female toilets to quietly pee, wash their hands and leave.

Quite ... actually this particular venue is often used for Dance meets so yep, lots of girls and younger siblings wandering in all the time.

But I keep forgetting that the declaration by a male bodied person that they have lady feelz miraculously reduces potential offending risks by like 93% or something ... 😳

If the ethos of the festival was such, why weren't the males using the male toilets given they would have been perfectly safe - and indeed welcomed - in there? Or perhaps the ethos was 'stfu women, and give the men what they want' - as per.

Were they cross drawing or trans? There is a difference. Cross dressing is what it says on the tin, they are just dressing in women’s clothes sometimes. If trans they are living full time dressed as a woman/trying to behave as a woman does.

Wonder what they were really doing in the toilets...

Perhaps mixed sex facilities would have been a better plan for this festival.

I've never been to Butlins but I have been to other holiday parks which certainly do have female security staff. I always presumed it was so that they could deal with incidents in female toilets and with female guests misbehaving.

Indeed hopping. Surely if it is such an inclusive event, those male people should have been perfectly safe in the male toilets….

It is as if safety isn’t actually the issue for these particular male people.

And why 5 in the female toilets at once? Is this a sign that female people are now a violent threat to these male people.

It certainly implies that someone assumed her gender and pronouns.

Of course we know only special people get to choose. Skivvies and workers do what the special people tell them.
