This is from our very TRA ABC. Please note the comment from “Mr Southwick, a Jewish MP re Angie Jones’ tweet”. Well, Angie Jones is as Jewish as they come but they don’t say that.

Also, for, those who don’t know, see Angie on m.youtube.com/@TERFTalkDownUnder, though she hasn’t posted for a while. Some really good interviews.

'Are you accusing me of having Nazi links?': Secret recording played at Victorian Liberals defamation trial

"I'm not Australian and have limited knowledge (as I said upthread). I follow this one because of KJKs involvement."

Yeah. I think everyone's up to speed on that one, tbh

Considering there is a panel event dedicated to women’s rights that has Sal Grover, and Rachel Wong, I guess then that those women are now to be reviled.

What? How very dare they!

Care to link up what the “three in a row” incidents were? I mean, we already have discussed it in depth on the thread but maybe you missed it?

Let’s see … the first incident was her maiden speech. Have you listened to it? Care to point out what you, personally, found to disagree with in it?

What on earth is your problem? The '3 in a row' is a more or less direct quote from Pesutto. It isn't my opinion at all. (I bolded that so there is absolutely no confusion.)

I have no opinion, either, on her maiden speech.

I will be reporting you if you keep if with this aggression.

CPAC Australia has Nyunggai Warren Mundine as chair. Mundine is an ex Labor Party president.

He's also now very Conservative. His own mob think he's bonkers. Next?

Getting rather aggressive there.

MessinaBloom · 21/09/2024 10:19

@Helleofabore

In fact, even after I queried whether messinabloom meant that Moira Deeming’s position on women’s rights was what messinabloom was referring to, to be denied by messinabloom, the last few posts refer to the three incidents. And two of those three incidents were speeches directly about women’s and girl’s rights. The third was attending a women’s rights rally.

So, there is also something of a disconnect in what messinabloom has also been accusing Moira Deeming of.

Incorrect. You're making things up now and losing track. Enough.

oh? Can I answer you without being reported??

He is still a Liberal Party member if I remember correctly. And by own ‘mob’ who are you speaking of ?

So, if he is still a Liberal Party member, how does that sit with your claim that Moira Deeming is too extreme and was going to be expelled anyway from the Liberal Party?

Oh no! Quick get the smelling salts.

Someone on the internet says that someone else thinks a man is bonkers and it's his own mob! New mob or old mob isn't clear but anyhoo. Bonkers I tell you.

I bought some Bonkers treats for my cat when I was last in the UK and it sent him to sleep. So we have no idea if it is the running round bonkers or the snoring bonkers as of yet. I'm sure more information wil be coming in on the next fax.

Must be true though. That is how completely unevidenced statements from random partisan individuals on the internet work 🤔

Enough. Stop asking Mess to evidence the claims made or she'll report you.

lifeturnsonadime · 21/09/2024 10:25

I must be missing something? I know she’s the worst Prime Minister that the UK has ever had but what’s so bad about speaking at an event where Liz Truss is present? This is getting more and more bizarre by the minute.

MessinaBloom · 21/09/2024 10:26

@Helleofabore

Surely you know what 'mob' refers to, Helleofabore?

So, if he is still a Liberal Party member, how does that sit with your claim that Moira Deeming is too extreme and was going to be expelled anyway from the Liberal Party?
Perhaps he's not arranging rallies with controversial figures. He's also not a current sitting representative.

MessinaBloom · 21/09/2024 10:29

'Mob' means a clan of indigenous people associated with a particular area or region. Every indigenous person belongs to a mob. Mundine's mob have distanced themselves from him.

Helleofabore · 21/09/2024 10:34

Because it seems to be important to keep giving access to those reading along to what the reference to the 'three incidents' relates to, here are the links. Because they keep popping up in the thread.

It was made clear on the audio that the 'three incidents' referred to the following two speeches and Moira Deeming attending the women's rights rally.

Moira Deeming's first speech in Victorian Parliament was the 'first incident' that Crozier 'counselled' Moira Deeming about.

https://www.facebook.com/MoiraDeemingMP/videos/judge-for-yourself-my-maiden-speech-to-parliament/1497520223990710/

Here is the 'second incident', the IWD speech:

x.com/moiradeemingmp/status/1634411680498335745?s=46&t=SPorwN-mokktL467rcZ57g

And the transcript for the above.

www.parliament.vic.gov.au/parliamentary-activity/hansard/hansard-details/hansard-974425065-20509

And just a reminder that it became clear in the audio that Moira Deeming was not too 'extreme' in any of her other views, it was (despite Pesutto trying to deny this) that Moira Deeming's activism around women and children's rights were considered to negatively impact the Victorian Liberal Party's leadership election strategy. Which is a significantly different thing to Moira Deeming being considered 'too extreme' in any other view point, in my opinion.

Thank you for clarifying.

However, Mundine is still considered a valued indigenous voice so regardless of his 'mob', he has acceptance in the wide indigenous community.

I am sure that you don't wish to speak for Australia's indigenous people. If they have an issue with Mundine, they will soon have him removed from any spokesperson role, I am sure.

Excellent to know that you don't consider the CPAC conference as having 'controversial figures'.

Thanks for clarifying that.

Edited

Personally, I think that when women are getting together and talking, across party line, across historical differences lines, across any lines, then that can only be a good thing.

I mean, Liz Truss nearly drove the UK off a cliff and cost me personally about 50k in the pension drop as I was in the middle of drawing mine down and the terror in our house was on a knife-edge, and the language used wouldn't have been allowed prior to the watershed.

But she is still allowed to speak. At conferences. At the moment. Until Starmer works out how to put a stop to that.

Cailleach1 · 21/09/2024 10:50

@CassieMaddox “Why do people think rich and Oxbridge educated Nigel Farage is a "man of the people"?’

Although a small point when @CassieMaddox has also brought Ted Bundy into the comparisons, but the above is factually incorrect. Irrespective of whatever personal opinions one has about him, it is simply untrue that NF is “Oxbridge educated”. He went straight into work after school.

Should one preempt the ‘Strange’, ‘odd’ ‘weird’, along with emoji additions á la😱🙄😲😂🤐🙃 now?

You didn't get a 'pasting'.

You were informed that they paid for her insurance so that she actually go and hold these events. She announced it live on her you tube channel, which you would know as you are glued to everything she says and everything she does.

And again, why is it bad for a woman to go to any conference when she is going there to spread the message that mutilating, sterilising and castrating kids is bad?

We don't have collective amnesia, we have memories of what actually happened.

Some people said that. But some people posted the video where she denied they had paid for everything and said it was lies and a smear against her.
I believe it was around the time that we also heard about how she was left wing but the left had abandoned her, and she had no choice but to go on extremists podcasts because she was "cancelled".

And I'm not really interested who goes to the conferences from an Aus perspective. CPAC and its linked organisation NatCon attract a very particular political persuasion and funding. It is noteworthy, as much as you'd like to pretend otherwise.

I mean, you could guess they were nuts because they are keynoting Liz Truss 😂

I have attended conferences where SNP ministers were keynote speakers, does that make me a crazed TWAW supporting Scottish Nat?

If you were speaking at them and getting paid by them, I think it would be reasonable for people to assume that, yes Confused

Just to be crystal clear. Helle is pointing out what the three in a row incidents were. They were all to do with her support for women's rights, and thus totally uncontroversial to most of the women on FWR. One was her maiden speech that you dismiss so easily.

If you think he's referring to two other different incidents, then say what they were.
