But if they're allowed to compete, they're not cheating. Khelif didn't contest the previous testing results, and stopped competing when told to. I think it's an enormous ask to expect someone to turn down this opportunity if it's offered to them. I think the fault lies entirely with the IOC.

Some of the stuff on FB over the last few days is unbelievable. Posters doubling down in their support for these two male boxers, tying themselves in knots over Nikki Hiltz (who as a woman, competing in women's events is exactly where she should be - what needs explaining here I have no idea). I can't work out if they actually believe the garbage they're spouting or think this is what they have to do to fit in with their tribe. It's warped and a sad reflection on the way truth is interpreted in these troubled times.
