KJK Live streams being sacked from her GPs surgery - trans staff member

HootyMcBooby · 19/07/2024 17:15

Forward to 19.15 for the actual phone call.

KJK confrontation with trans staff member at her GPs surgery.

This ideology has no place in the NHS.
As someone whose Mother, aged 72, had a stroke and waited in an NHS corridor on a trolley for 16 hours only to be asked as the doctors FIRST question....... "how do you identify?", I feel the NHS is captured beyond hope,

I've had to leave my GP surgery due to an activist working there. #LWS #LetWomenSpeak #LWSLocals

Kjk could speak about how stupid and dangerous it is that her husband’s company promotes lgbtqia+ ideology. Why doesn’t she?

Why don't you ask her?

Because she's an adult.

Can you post the evidence that his company "promotes lgbtqia+ ideology"?

Thanks. I needed ‘why don’t you ask her’ on my KJK bingo card

AccidentallyWesAnderson · 21/07/2024 10:29

It's also telling that being rude to a member of staff wearing a pronoun badge (promoting an ideology to potentially dangerous to women and girls, and in a medical setting to boot) gets the reaction it got from usually the same posters on here, but rape, violence and cancellation of job threats from certain TRAs to women and it's radio silence.

AlisonDonut · 21/07/2024 10:23

She had already said she wanted to be taken off their register before they 'kicked her off'.

exactly? so she went in there and decided to cause a scene for no reason.

play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

WinkyMcFlapFace · 21/07/2024 10:30

I see we’re at the “take it up with her” stage of things.

So important to remember this is not in fact a discussion site where public and private individuals involved in gender politics should absolutely not be discussed.

Instead, the dictat is to speak directly with the individual.

Obviously this applies in all directions, so we can expect no more scrutiny of trans people and allies… right?

Mine filled up a long time ago 🙄. Hardly think Mumsnet is the place to ask about her husband’s business activities and her thoughts on this potential link to TRA’s. With the only evidence given is a shite biased Daily Mail article.

WinkyMcFlapFace · 21/07/2024 10:33

But in this world of immediate media is is always going to be likely that a known activist would live stream the call and post the surgery. That was a huge error on their part if they wanted to stay anonymous.

Righto…. It’s the GP practice’s fault. Of course it is - they should totally have expected to be doxxed live on air without consent.

Imagine the response if KJK had been told the practice would not speak with her on the phone, and that she was required to attend in person! No doubt she would have got her desired content either way.

Grifters gonna grift, as the saying goes

Her husband’s company’s website is in the public domain. No one is going to link to it as they’ll get jumped on. This isn’t new information though. Anyone who’s been wryly following KJK’s ‘career’ for any length of time knows all this. Along with everything else. Beyond amusement value there’s little point mentioning it though.

The question was, "why doesn't she ...?"

Obviously none of us know the answer to that, because we're not her. Any of us could ask her, and it would make sense for the person who asked the question to ask her, because they want to know the answer. I'm not going to ask her, because it's not a question that interests me.

Any of us could speculate on what the answer might be, but that wouldn't be her answer, and might be wrong, so it's a bit pointless to just discuss it without asking her.

Again, for the hard of thinking and those with poor reading comprehension (that’s the parlance here, right?)

KJK doxxed, harassed and swore at NHS staff over a badge of the type worn in numerous settings through healthcare in the UK, and stated unambiguously (again) that trans and non binary people should not be employed.

That’s not “being rude”

HPFA · 21/07/2024 08:17

100% agree.

As far as I'm concerned the people who have contributed the most to the movement are people like Stephanie Davis-Arai, Emma Hilton, Jo Phoenix, Janice Turner etc - those who have put in the hard graft of presenting the data, convincing opinion formers, turning the political tide.

Whenever I hear about KJK's great contributions, all I hear is variations of "she gets us publicity" - well, what does that achieve if it makes us look like the transphobic bigots the other side tries to claim we are? It would be perfectly possible for her to give women a platform - which is supposed to be her raison d'etre - without trying to hound trans people out of their jobs.

Such a great post 👏

I’ve acknowledged already her comments about not employing trans people. Why don’t you read the thread properly.

Why don’t you address the silence that meets violence, rape and job cancellation threats to GC women? Anytime they try and meet to discuss issues that affect women? Do you think it’s ok to do that?

GenderBlender · 21/07/2024 10:47

Yeah, I think that is the final straw for me and KJK. I expect that when it comes to gender there wouldn't be much we would disagree on. I suspect on other things there would be little where we would agree. Broadcasting that call was totally premeditated and not acceptable.

I have been thinking for a while that she has become more of a liability than an asset. Her tactics are becoming increasingly off putting. Being really rude and broadcasting a private conversation without consent is not going to convince the average punter that she is on the side of the angels.

CassieMaddox · 21/07/2024 10:48

OldCrone · 21/07/2024 08:40

I think trying to destroy someone's livelihood because you disagree with his wife's activism is a pretty nasty thing to do.

Or are you trying to destroy her marriage? That's nasty, too.

You could just stop with the purity spiral.

😂

Funny how "uncompromising sunlight" only works one way

Don't be silly. There are endless threads about things TRAs have done. "Radio silence", as if

KJK got kicked out of a doctors list because she wouldn't lie.
That is serious and affects us all.
we have people in here trying to blame her for it. But it is is the strand movement that did it

Where was she requested to lie?

She would be very unlikely to need third person pronouns in any conversation with the individual concerned. Conversations with doctor's receptionists tend to be confined to "if I give you a terrifically large bribe can I have an appointment before next year?"

I tend to do an inward eye roll when I encounter a pronoun badge but it's a free country and trans people should not be assumed to be willing to "leak medical data" or anything else without proof. That really is just transphobia.

youcancallmebabefortheweekend · 21/07/2024 10:53

You know what, I am GC, I campaigned for FPFW (still got the hands off my rights t-shirt)…

but I can’t fucking stand KJK these days. She used to be very effective. Now, she’s no longer outspoken and assertive, just rude and frankly hateful, and she seems to deeply dislike anyone who isn’t exactly like her.

she needs to get in the bin, she’s lost the plot.

Good to know you acknowledge that transphobia from KJK. I do wonder why you’re attacking people who are saying the same thing then?

On your second point, that “silence” is an invented trope that doesn’t reflect reality. But you know that. I’ll decline to rise to your gotcha attempt today - but thanks for the very predictable invite.

youcancallmebabefortheweekend · 21/07/2024 11:00

OldCrone · 21/07/2024 08:06

Why should she? What has her husband got to do with this? He runs his own company, she does her activism. They're two different people and women (thankfully) are no longer considered to be their husbands' possessions.

Why aren't you also asking about what her parents do, or siblings? What about her children? There are four of them, and given how popular trans identities are at the moment amongst children and young people, it's possible, even likely, that some of their friends might identify as trans. I'm sure you could find some juicy gossip there to satisfy your witch-burning urges.

Go on, cast your net wider, and see how many people's lives and livelihoods you can destroy with guilt by association in your purity spiral.

Or you could just get a life and stop being so obsessed with someone you hate.

Because if she’s “shedding light” then perhaps she should do so closer to home - otherwise she’s a hypocrite.

I'd already seen that. It's a typical diversity and inclusion statement, which many companies have on their websites.

I asked for evidence that "her husband’s company promotes lgbtqia+ ideology".

The statement mentions both "sex" and "gender" as two different things. Acknowledging the existence of sex and separating it from gender is a bit anti-lgbtqia+ ideology isn't it?
