KJK Live streams being sacked from her GPs surgery - trans staff member

Forward to 19.15 for the actual phone call.

KJK confrontation with trans staff member at her GPs surgery.

This ideology has no place in the NHS.
As someone whose Mother, aged 72, had a stroke and waited in an NHS corridor on a trolley for 16 hours only to be asked as the doctors FIRST question....... "how do you identify?", I feel the NHS is captured beyond hope,

I've had to leave my GP surgery due to an activist working there. #LWS #LetWomenSpeak #LWSLocals

I'd already seen that. It's a typical diversity and inclusion statement, which many companies have on their websites.

I asked for evidence that "her husband’s company promotes lgbtqia+ ideology".

The statement mentions both "sex" and "gender" as two different things. Acknowledging the existence of sex and separating it from gender is a bit anti-lgbtqia+ ideology isn't it?

It’s not a major company. Most SMEs don’t have any such statement on their websites. Stop grasping at straws.

Ineverlose · 21/07/2024 11:08

Lol so kjk would be cool if Sex Matters had that on their website? Are you kjk's mother @OldCrone ? Or her sister?

Don't they? I wasn't aware of that. I don't spend a lot of time looking for diversity and inclusion statements on websites, but I'm aware that they exist and other companies have them.

Not being aware of something and posting something which might be incorrect isn't "grasping at straws".

I don't know why you feel the need to be so rude to me.

Such a great post 👏

Thank you.

It just makes me furious when people whose activism is often limited to screaming behind a keyboard call those doing the hard work "compromisers" and such like. It happens so often with all forms of activism.

Both Ros Tucker and Emma Hilton have been moaned at by keyboard warriors for saying "cis" or using preferred pronouns. They've had to point out again and again that sometimes you have to use the language THAT MEANS YOU ARE LISTENED TO rather than what you might ideally like.

Well if you don’t ’spend a lot of time’ looking maybe it’s best not to assert it’s ‘typical’. HTH.

Never met her. I probably wouldn't like her much if I did. And I totally disagree with what she did in the doctor's surgery and the phone call.

I just think that attacking her husband's business is completely out of order. He's not responsible for her actions, and she's not responsible for what is on his business website.

If you want to complain about what she's doing, fine. But leave her family out of it. These sort of attacks affect her whole family, including her children.

But if she’s more than happy to antagonise and bully others with her “uncompromising” stance, why is her husband’s business seemingly exempt?

WinkyMcFlapFace · 21/07/2024 11:21

Someone should send KJK the memo about leaving her children out of it, since their healthcare needs got mentioned in that video, and they’re about to experience healthcare disruption as a consequence of their mother’s transphobic actions.

BeachParty · 21/07/2024 11:21

Why should she? What has her husband got to do with this? He runs his own company, she does her activism. They're two different people and women (thankfully) are no longer considered to be their husbands' possessions.

Yes, of course they're two different people, and women aren't their husband's possessions anymore (thank goodness)
As said repeatedly on the thread, it's the sheer hypocrisy and double standards
If you're going to grumble and turn up at people"s work and harass them because they're wearing a badge or a business supporting trans rights, you're a massive hypocrite if you suddenly turn a blind eye to all your principles and beliefs when it's your own family company.

All I said was:
It's a typical diversity and inclusion statement, which many companies have on their websites.

All I meant by that was that I had seen similar statements on other websites. Which I have. It's not the first time I've seen one. I have no idea how big his company is and I don't spend my entire life trawling websites looking for diversity and inclusion statements.

The statement is 'typical' of others I've seen.

That's all I meant. It was a quickly written comment on a forum, not a statement under oath in a court of law.

I still don't understand why you feel the need to be so rude to me.

Exactly this, cross posted!
I think people must be being deliberately obtuse.
Either that or going "la, la la, not listening" and sticking their fingers in their ears.

AccidentallyWesAnderson · 21/07/2024 11:23

WinkyMcFlapFace · 21/07/2024 10:56

Good to know you acknowledge that transphobia from KJK. I do wonder why you’re attacking people who are saying the same thing then?

On your second point, that “silence” is an invented trope that doesn’t reflect reality. But you know that. I’ll decline to rise to your gotcha attempt today - but thanks for the very predictable invite.

I’m not attacking anyone, I’m addressing points as I see them, whether I agree or disagree. Disliking KJK doesn’t mean you get to call her Islamophobic or Far Right without examples, or attack her husband and say he is in bed with and receives funding from TRA’s because of an ‘inclusive statement’ on his company website.

It happens all the time on these boards, we speak about the latest person to get violence and rape threats and you get the usual people pop up to somehow defend the person/trans ally. Trust me, there’s no invite. I’d rather you didn’t keep responding to me seeing as you don’t seem to be able to discuss without resorting to ‘are you ok?’ ‘Are your comprehension levels ok’ ‘I feel sad and sorry for you’. Discuss like an adult if you want to engage. At least with me.

I just think that attacking her husband's business is completely out of order. He's not responsible for her actions, and she's not responsible for what is on his business website.

I don't think anyone is advocating for that, and no he's not responsible for her actions at all, she's her own person.
Just pointing out the fact that she isn't calling out his business but has no qualms doing it to all others doing the same thing (supporting LGBTQ+ )

How do you know she didn't chew his balls for that website statement and he told her where to go?

What’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.
of course I’ll bring KJK’s husband’s business into it to point out her stinking hypocrisy.

She sells stickers, I doubt she makes a lot from it. So yes, she is living off her husband’s money. And her husband is a TRA if we apply KJK’s very own standards to him.

Why don't you tell her that then?

No point in moaning to people who don't know her. You need to tell her what a hypocrite she is.

Do you think she's right to call out those other businesses?

In a few years you'll probably understand.

Ah yes, of course. 😂
Because SHE and HER kids need the security that comes from the money from the business… you know, just a mama bear doing the right thing for her family… 🥺

But OTHER businesses and OTHER families, nah, fuck them!

BeachParty · 21/07/2024 11:46

AccidentallyWesAnderson · 21/07/2024 10:25

Why don't you ask her?

This is just such a ridiculous argument.
You realise this is a discussion forum, right?
You only ever really see this "why don't you ask her? nonsense when it comes to KJK.

WinkyMcFlapFace · 21/07/2024 11:48

Well there we go.

People who don’t think KJK is above criticism should go away, and definitely not respond to posts - especially to Wes, and especially not using the same words phrases and jibes used countless times on these boards.

Do as we say, not as we do.
