KJK Live streams being sacked from her GPs surgery - trans staff member

Forward to 19.15 for the actual phone call.

KJK confrontation with trans staff member at her GPs surgery.

This ideology has no place in the NHS.
As someone whose Mother, aged 72, had a stroke and waited in an NHS corridor on a trolley for 16 hours only to be asked as the doctors FIRST question....... "how do you identify?", I feel the NHS is captured beyond hope,

I've had to leave my GP surgery due to an activist working there. #LWS #LetWomenSpeak #LWSLocals

Maria was told to say "she" or "the defendant". "They" wasn't offered.

She was also given less victim compensation for being "difficult" as I remember it.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 20/07/2024 02:39

She refused both and went for he/him because in her own words “the judge never explained why I had to be courteous to the person who assaulted me”

Ah see even there she managed to use “person”
So she can do it when she wants to.
She was defying the judge.

It's nice that you are displaying yourself so clearly. Carry on.

HootyMcBooby · 20/07/2024 02:40

Yeah, poor little rapist having to be misgendered eh?

Lets not put ourselves in the position of a woman brutally raped.

Lets concern ourselves with the apparent harm caused to the rapist scum by hearing a PRONOUN.

Which, apparently, don't matter anyway.
Or something.

@Ereshkigalangcleg

Yes they have forced their belief on me @MessinaBloom and you're actually quoting and replying to the wrong person in any case, HTH!

Apologies, that was meant for @AccidentallyWesAnderson

And, no, I don't accept you do have these beliefs forced upon you. They exist alongside you; you don't like them; you actively resist them. There is little real-world legal backlash you'd face for doing so. If you aren't deliberately unpleasant, like KJK, you won't lose employment or social standing. You won't receive a jail sentence for saying the wrong thing - so no, not forced upon you.

I don't walk into any workplace and make a ruckus and expect zero repercussions.

Sorry what?! People have been sacked for stating biological fact. Maya Forstater?

TRA's have called misgendering 'literal violence'. The abuse people have received online and in real life for not believing in gender ideology has been unreal, rape threats, I could go on. There's a lot of real world backlash for not believing in this nonsensical concept. Wake up.

They always do, you just have to let them talk.

He wasn't a rapist, he was just a thuggish man who beat up a 60 year old woman with some of his thuggish man friends.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 20/07/2024 02:47

And I call bullshit that any of the people who are more concerned about "pronouns" than a woman getting beaten up by 3 men are in any way gender critical. You don't need to agree with KJK to not seal clap along with TRAs.

MaidOfAle · 20/07/2024 02:47

SugarandSpiceandAllThingsNaice · 20/07/2024 02:24

Oh, I agree they are not at all comparable.

I am struggling with the contention that it is reasonable to fear a group that waves signs, engages in peaceful protest and files irritating legal suits as being oh so much more terrifying and threatening.

A reality based assessment would indicate the opposite is true and your fear is really a phobia.

It’s a bit like being more afraid of sea turtles attacking you than sharks when you swim in the sea.

"Peaceful protest". Like pissing on Kathleen Stock's office door? Like assaulting Maria and stealing and breaking her camera? Like banging on windows and intimidating other users of venues that host women's meetings? Like bullying Prof Phoenix into constructive dismissal? Like intimidating Hilary Cass such that she is no longer safe using public transport? Like attempting to assault Julie Bindel in Edinburgh? Like blocking the steps to the JamJar in Bristol? Like threatening to bomb a women's meeting in Hastings?

The people who actually are only holding signs, peacefully protesting, and filing lawsuits are the GC ones, with the notable exception of KJK.

SugarandSpiceandAllThingsNaice · 20/07/2024 02:47

”The majority of people speak a language that has sexed pronouns.”
Yeah but not as their FIRST LANGUAGE

Mandarin is the #1 first language by speakers in the world.

You’ve done the “top ten” speaker count by TOTAL SPEAKERS, which includes a lot of European empire after effects where in many former colonies a European language with sexed pronouns is spoken as a SECOND LANGUAGE.

We were talking about ease of going from a gender neutral pronouns FIRST language to a gendered pronoun SECOND language.

You obviously think your first language is the easiest, but English is globally recognised as one of the hardest languages to learn.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 20/07/2024 02:48

Yup.

SugarandSpiceandAllThingsNaice · 20/07/2024 02:50

Maria was told to say "she" or "the defendant". "They" wasn't offered.

If Maria had said “The defendant approached me and they..” that would have been fine, it is understood that they/them goes with the defendant. As it is she didn’t even try. She went straight for what she was asked not to do by the judge.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 20/07/2024 02:50

"Notable exception" but I think you'll find she's dealt with more abuse from them than the other way round. Watch her Au/NZ your.

MaidOfAle · 20/07/2024 02:52

SugarandSpiceandAllThingsNaice · 20/07/2024 02:36

It takes more effort to pick the wrong pronoun so consistently than it does to just say the defendant and they/them. The court gave her the choice to use that or use she/her.

She refused both and went for he/him because in her own words “the judge never explained why I had to be courteous to the person who assaulted me”

Ah see even there she managed to use “person”
So she can do it when she wants to.

I was at a hobby group last week and the bookings secretary was talking about a client making the booking and kept saying "he, sorry, they" because the client uses "they" despite being visibly male. Our bookings sec isn't, to my knowledge, GC. It just is that hard to deny the evidence of your own eyes even when the person hasn't attacked you.

Maria asking why she should even bother trying doesn't make the difficulty of doing so any less true.

Yes as I said, she wasnt raped. Just assaulted by a group of men.

Its peaceful compared to blowing up the Manchester arena because we bombed ISIS or stabbing people in London or raping choir boys and girls no so on.

But go on and tell me how your fearing every person with a pronoun badge wants you dead is oh so reasonable and much more terrifying.

BeachParty · 20/07/2024 02:53

SugarandSpiceandAllThingsNaice · 20/07/2024 02:02

They are unreasonable to feel unsafe. It’s the very definition of a phobia. Just like people are unreasonable for feeling unsafe when interacting with a man or woman wearing a crucifix or hand of Fatima or a Star of David, or a Wiccan hex

Yes, agree with this
Why would you feel unsafe dealing with a receptionist who stated their pronouns?
If they are competent at their job that's all I give a shit about.

Maria asking why she should even bother trying doesn't make the difficulty of doing so any less true.

It calls into question her intentions and explains the lack of effort. If her struggle had been genuine, I doubt the judge would have reprimanded her.

HootyMcBooby · 20/07/2024 02:55

Ah, I'm talking of the court case where a woman was admonished for refusing to use pronouns of her rapist and the judge admonished court officials and stopped proceedings to request that female pronouns be used.

Trenchard case.

Crossed wires.
