This is horrifying. Women speaking about how mothers are dying in hhe NHS due to men demanding their rights Trump women's lives, and women are harassed and threatened in public by men in front of the police?

Brave women going to this and speaking up.

I'm sure the TRAs are revelling in this as a huge victory. The footage of women 'kettled' by jeering chanting TRAs looks like they 'won', by their own despicable standards.

I can't help thinking that the women looked like sitting ducks, with no way of reacting- other than gritting their teeth and getting on with it - in the face of a wall of abuse.

There are sound absorbing panels which reduce noise, and you can get portable foldable ones - they probably don't work very well in the open air, but one placed between the speaker and the TRAs, it would give some noise reduction, and above all it would be a visible protective gesture. Better than nothing?

My theory is, that deep, deep down men gave us rights, but didn't actually believe we were equal to them really, and too many of them are actually revelling in this current shit show.

It is odd, yes.

Poor, vulnerable, most marginalised people, suffered terribly.

Therefore must be protected and enabled to vent their frustration on women. Especially nasty women who won't be quiet and pander to them.

Really, these women were asking for it, imagine being out in public talking openly about women's rights! For shame.

No they haven’t!
As soon as it became obvious their wants affected women the Conservatives started putting measures in place to support them.
Such things as changes to building regs, more separate ‘rooms’ in hospitals. No fast tracking of gender Id ( That’s Labour for you )
And so on….
They have recognised and acted to protect women. Laws don’t happen over night!

I am not surprised the Good People/Right Side of History/Be Kinders rarely, if ever. show up on any thread about the appalling behaviour of those they support. On the rare occasions they do turn up it is usually to make excuses, derail, whatabout or posit that the women being abused and threatened somehow deserved it.
