KJK supports Trump

1000 replies

NefertitiV · 31/05/2024 02:36

After the Trump verdict today, KJK retweeted three supportive tweets to her timeline, including one from US ex-Fox host Megyn Kelly that says "Guilty on all counts. The country is disgraced. Alvin Bragg should be disbarred. They will rue the day they released this lawfare to corrupt a presidential election."

Another tweet makes fun of President Biden's stutter.

This is someone currently up for election herself. Given her recent remarks about barring rentals to all trans people, and the fact she has received funding from US conservative political groups, does this concern you?

I haven't "demonised" her at all, or "bullied" her. I don't think anyone on this thread has. I have posted reasonable thoughts and challenges, similar to how I might post about any political or public figure. I find this type of over blown response to rational questions eerily familiar. I am expecting people to start bleating on about feeling unsafe any moment now.

What do you mean? ‘Bleating’ about unsafe where?

What was overblown or eerily done in that post anyway

NefertitiV · 31/05/2024 09:33

@monkeyspaw

"Do you agree with her that men, no matter how they identify should not be allowed in women's prisons, refugees, showers, changing rooms, sports etc.?"

You say agree with this, but how do you define a woman? If you are a true believer then trans identified men ARE women, so they aren't men, so they SHOULD have access to women's spaces.

Please answer clearly, do you think trans identified men (transwomen) are women, so they should have access to women's spaces?

For clarity, then, I don't think TWAW are women, nor that they should have access to women's spaces.

I don't think I've ever seen you post on anything other than KJK threads on this board, OP. Apologies if I'm wrong but that's all I've seen you post on.

Many posters on here agree with KJK on some things and not others. I'm not sure why we need to keep going through this. Why do we need thread after thread to say the same things?

I haven't always used this username. I had to change usernames after I was bullied on the board about a previous one; I was accused of being a sex offender based on the name.

I started a new thread based on the overt Trump support KJK has come with. I felt that was bold.

SapphosRock · 31/05/2024 09:38

It appears that lots of people think KJK has gone too far and they don't feel comfortable voting for her.

There are some brilliant GC women in Brighton doing some excellent campaign work for the election that is not transphobic, inflammatory, discriminatory or right wing.

This page is an excellent example of thoughtful women-centred questions for MPs:

Well, she is completely strangled on Twitter, you cannot search for her nor do her tweets show unless you go looking for them. Deboosted and Shadow banned.

And yet they still write thread after thread about her. And everything she does, and everything she says.

Almost like they are doing the boosting for her.

She shows on my feed. I don't follow her. I don't search for her

Biden does not have a stutter, he has a developing speech impediment that people pick up on because it is indicative of his declining mental acuity. In everyday life it would be wrong to draw attention to this. But when you asking people to vote for you to be president of the USA, or to pilot a fighter jet, then it is reasonable to highlight this.

I will be clearer. When posters pose patently reasonable questions are responded to with accusations of bulling, demonising and stalking and a whole bunch of whataboutery this seems to come straight from the TRA playbook.

You may think the sun shines out of KJK's freshly bleached arsehole, that is your right, but attacking people who ask fair questions just adds to the sense of her and her followers having gone wrong somewhere along the road.

I wasn't specifically meaning you, GenderBlender. The point I was making is that guilt by association, in this case with the unpleasant Mr Trump, is a way of undermining causes. TRAs have consistently called GC women right wing, and allied to right wing US Christians etc. and picking up KJK's retweets is in that line of activism. Better I had said that, and been clear what I meant. Words, words...will always trip us up if we don't think what we are saying! Thanks for pointing this out to me.

knitnerd90 · 31/05/2024 09:47

What? Biden has a severe stutter that has been documented for decades, well before any accusations of mental decline.

NefertitiV · 31/05/2024 09:47

@Hugosmaid

Why are you obsessed with her though?

Not obsessed. I'm interested in sociology, feminism and politics, and how they intersect. She isn't the only political figure that interests me.

What happened that you went all gross with the language there

I’m not on X so don’t even have the she’s on my feed and I don’t follow her what to do issue that pp does

She barely figures anywhere on SM for me, just these types of threads mostly

Why? This thread isn't about them. This thread also isn't about my CV.

’Freshly bleached arsehole’? 😂😂😂😂 How do you know she does that 👀👀

The funnest thing is that guys give her so much air time and thought - way more than us normal people who just think she’s just another supporter of women’s rights who manages to keep it in the spot light.

Not every one is going to be your cup of tea - I’m not keen on Julie Bindel as she’s said some really twatty things about women who want to have kids and she hangs out with some questionable people - BUT I can see she has done some good work on her own side. Water of a ducks back. It’s honestly as if you can’t stand her you want everyone else to hate her and it’s school play ground shit.

Just ignore her 😂😂

I’m honestly starting to think you are paid to post these threads by Kelly 😂😂

In fact it would be interesting if you had a look on ‘threads I started’ on your ‘watching’ tab, to see if its a fair charge - that you have an obsession, or not.

Chickenuggetsticks · 31/05/2024 09:58

Not really, I don’t follow her and can’t imagine stuff like “banning rentals to trans people” would be acceptable to the vast majority of people.

My views are very much grounded in knowing that men are not women. There will be people I deeply dislike who also know this. It doesn’t make it any less true.

It would only concern me if I believed that sharing a view on a particular issue means that people agree with everything that every person who also shares that view says and does. Which I don’t because while I’m not the smartest elf in the forest, I’m not a complete simpleton either. There’s probably some obscure thing that I’d be in agreement with India Willoughby over and I think he’s utterly unhinged.

Now, this discredits you. Biden does have a long-documented stutter. And why is okay in your mind to highlight to an issue like this - a speech impediment in a President - not potential issues with another electoral candidate?

You are incorrect, it has been extensively documented that Biden has had a stutter since early childhood. He has mostly overcome it but it never goes away, and can pop up at any time. For someone to overcome a stutter to the extent that they spend their adult life in a role that involves a lot of public speaking shoes how successful his coping strategies have been. Regardless of what you think of his politics or his suitability to run again for president.

Elaan · 31/05/2024 10:00

She was right when she refused to wring pronoun men though. She upset the cool girls. But calling men 'she' is the root of a lot of the problems.

she may be right about whatever she retweeted, I don't know what that was I haven't read it and I haven't seen it quoted in this thread.
she says things people are thinking, that's free speech

CassieMaddox · 31/05/2024 10:01

Alltheprettyseahorses · 31/05/2024 08:30

I'm not going to chase my tail on a desperate attempt to conform to a purity spiral that will always be used against me nor will I disown a woman from a women's movement because she dared to retweet criticism of a really awful leader who is apparently supposed to be untouchable because he's on what some think is the right team.

What I will say regarding the OP is that this is not a game I would choose to play if I were them. The figureheads on the other side start with eg someone who wants migrants drowned in the English channel or someone else who spouts horrendous abuse against women who are lesbians - and then they get progressively worse. If Posie Parker's retweet (that wasn't what was said anyway) defines us, they define you. There's no getting out of it.

It's all moot anyway. The real problem with Posie Parker is that she's not scared. I have no interest in throwing woman after woman to the wolves to placate someone who will always hate me and will always want more. I'm more interested in making myself happy.

The figureheads on the other side start with eg someone who wants migrants drowned in the English channel or someone else who spouts horrendous abuse against women who are lesbians
What "other side" is this? I don't understand this post at all - please can you clarify?

BezMills · 31/05/2024 08:17

I know, right? Trump is horrendous and Biden just seems to be a nice old guy who if I served him in a pub, I'd carry his half pint to his table lest he drops it.

😂

The vast majority of people have not suffered the endless stream of vitriol, censorship, threats and violence that she has suffered from this ‘community’. If they had they would probably agree with her.
