KJK supports Trump

1000 replies

NefertitiV · 31/05/2024 02:36

After the Trump verdict today, KJK retweeted three supportive tweets to her timeline, including one from US ex-Fox host Megyn Kelly that says "Guilty on all counts. The country is disgraced. Alvin Bragg should be disbarred. They will rue the day they released this lawfare to corrupt a presidential election."

Another tweet makes fun of President Biden's stutter.

This is someone currently up for election herself. Given her recent remarks about barring rentals to all trans people, and the fact she has received funding from US conservative political groups, does this concern you?

IDK - usually it's all tedious trans threads

its the sex and gender board….there is a clue in the name

RufustheFactualReindeer · 31/05/2024 08:22

Fed up with people having a pop about trans threads when the whole sodding board was created by MNHQ to corral all those threads

no one goes on the litter box and says tedious cat threads (they wouldn’t get out alive to be fair)

Trumpetoftheswan2 · 31/05/2024 08:23

KJK is a right-wing populist. Of course she supports Trump.

But generally any negative comments or scrutiny of KJK are jumped on by her supporters on this board, usually to tell the poster to STFU.

Each to their own but her right-wing alllegience bothers me less now that she's showing more people who she actually is.

@EasternStandard

It’s not ‘derailing’ it’s clear some spend an unusual amount of time focusing on KJK and her non compliance to all they want

Others on this board spend an unusual amount of time thinking and talking about other people's private parts and their non-compliance to all they want, too. I don't tell them to stop that, do I?

She's a politician. Politicians have to able to stand criticism. It isn't personal personal criticism.

If you think this board is about ‘private parts’ I doubt your earlier post on wanting single sex spaces. You’ll need to work out what you actually believe

It’s not that I think she can’t deal with you spending time on her btw

It’s all good to someone who wants their voice heard. You’re doing her work for her.

She won’t do as you want though so it’s just extra head space to KJK, to her gain and your detriment it would seem

Yeh not exactly a surprise

Tukmgru · 31/05/2024 08:26

She’s a far right nutter who jumped on the anti trans bandwagon for the followers and the money it brings. She’s got no real interest in women‘s rights, and is hellbent on shutting down every voice that isn’t her own (or as she puts it, defending free speech). So it’s not a surprise at all that she supports Trump. They’re made for each other.

You’re a ‘usual suspect’ on KJK, why not?

Are your posts not here?

I’d say you post more than most about this topic, and follow her more closely certainly

@nauticant

That's a tweet pointing out what many have said, that Biden might be suffering from cognitive decline. Even people on the Democratic side are saying this quietly to each other.

It's not kind, but then I don't want kind.

No. This is specifically taking aim at Biden's stutter, and making it seem cognitive-related. The video grab is likely digitally altered to make it seem worse than it is, too. And yes, it isn't kind. It's cruel.

There’s an entire Twitter movement that has analysed Trump for years because they think he’s showing signs of frontotemporal dementia. Videos of his gait, slurred speech etc. Is that cruel?

NefertitiV · 31/05/2024 08:29

@EasternStandard

No - why would she? What a weird thing to say. Like I said in the OP, I'm interested in the thoughts of posters on MN. I'm not interested in changing KJK's mind.

I heard her wee cousin is actually Kim Il Sung and she spends her website money on making shoulder boards for NK officers. The spangly jumpers are just a cover business. WAKE UP

Alltheprettyseahorses · 31/05/2024 08:30

I'm not going to chase my tail on a desperate attempt to conform to a purity spiral that will always be used against me nor will I disown a woman from a women's movement because she dared to retweet criticism of a really awful leader who is apparently supposed to be untouchable because he's on what some think is the right team.

What I will say regarding the OP is that this is not a game I would choose to play if I were them. The figureheads on the other side start with eg someone who wants migrants drowned in the English channel or someone else who spouts horrendous abuse against women who are lesbians - and then they get progressively worse. If Posie Parker's retweet (that wasn't what was said anyway) defines us, they define you. There's no getting out of it.

It's all moot anyway. The real problem with Posie Parker is that she's not scared. I have no interest in throwing woman after woman to the wolves to placate someone who will always hate me and will always want more. I'm more interested in making myself happy.

Mycatatemydinner · 31/05/2024 08:30

I used to like and support her, but for a while I’ve had the suspicion that her agenda is actually quite sinister, so I’m not surprised.

this board is not transphobic….individual posts can absolutely be considered so

This is a good way of looking at it. I hadn't really joined those dots, and not totally sure that the cap fits, but definitely one to ponder.

My worry is due to the election she will become the face of gender critics, and those who know less about the arguments could easily conclude gender criticism= right wing populism. This would be so damaging for all the women (most are left leaning, or centre right) who have risked and lost so much.

I never said she's a Nazi. You are the first to bring that word up in the thread. I hope it won't degenerate now that you've said it.

As to why she retweeted the Trump posts, given past history, I don't think she's opposed to those views. She has re-tweeted Megyn Kelly numerous times before uncritically, for example.

the ability to read and comprehend would help.

I said are we getting into that type of argument. What you took out of that is in your head.

Yes, it is.

Ok, so that’s your view. I don’t agree that it’s cruel, because I think it’s important that the two oldest presidents the USA have had have their health fully scrutinised because if you think it’s turbulent now, heaven forbid one of them truly progress with dementia or die in office.

But the important question is did you start a thread when all the left wing people posted or liked tweets about Trump’s possible cognitive decline, or did you conveniently ignore it?

Are you? Is that why you went with the ‘usual suspects’ blarney

Are you only after agreement then?

Myalternate · 31/05/2024 08:37

I’ll talk about what I want regarding my rights as a woman and as a mother.
Women are not required to explain their reasons for supporting/not supporting any particular political candidate/political party.

This board gives me the opportunity to discuss what I want to discuss regarding my rights. Fuck off to anyone that tries to shut me up.

KJK is not someone that I support but she has the right to say what she wants.
We all do.
