KJK supports Trump

1000 replies

NefertitiV · 31/05/2024 02:36

After the Trump verdict today, KJK retweeted three supportive tweets to her timeline, including one from US ex-Fox host Megyn Kelly that says "Guilty on all counts. The country is disgraced. Alvin Bragg should be disbarred. They will rue the day they released this lawfare to corrupt a presidential election."

Another tweet makes fun of President Biden's stutter.

This is someone currently up for election herself. Given her recent remarks about barring rentals to all trans people, and the fact she has received funding from US conservative political groups, does this concern you?

Why not go onto her twitter and comment on there, instead of sniping on here where you know she can't respond?

Why not call her up on a Tuesday evening and have a go to her face?

Why do you call women who push back at you 'angry'?

I think you and the other women who constantly copy and paste her words just to slag her off here are utter cowards who would freak out at the same being done to them, just to be clear.

Yep

I am surprised that anyone is denying that eugenics was huge on the left in the first half of the 20th century. I thought this was well known? Don't people know about Margaret Sanger - I'd think she'd be pretty well known on a feminist discussion board. She's an excellent example of this.

Some of these people very much renounced that later, to their credit., after it became clear what the logical end point was.

G.K. Chesterton wrote some really excellent articles denouncing eugenics at the time and it was actually quite counter-cultural of him, it was so popular among secular intellectuals and even many in the CofE. The Catholics stood against it better than most did though, even the leftist ones.

I don't think we are as far away from it as we think though. I remember reading an interview with a Swedish doctor/researching, saying how wonderful it was that we had almost conquered Downs Syndrome. What he meant was, we could test for it in utero and terminate the pregnancies.

Down Syndrome is not a heritable trait, so terminating pregnancies for DS is not "eugenics". That is a common pro-life talking point.
I posted a thread yesterday about pro-natalists in the US practicing "progenics" where embryos are screened for certain traits. That is closer to eugenics.

Why are you still wanging on about eugenics on a thread about KJK? Do you want to bump up the association in search engine algorithms?

LarkLane · 03/06/2024 09:00

Changing your user name doesn't mean that suddenly everyone thinks that you are talking sense.
I see that you are still posting the same old wacky waffle. Still not having the nerve to directly engage with KJK.

How do you know I don't? I'll qualify again: I'm not "sniping". I'm asking for other people's thoughts. I know KJK is fine with her actions; she's said as much.*
*
Why not call her up on a Tuesday evening and have a go to her face?
I think you misunderstand the point of this thread.

Why do you call women who push back at you 'angry'?
You, in particular, sound angry. Perhaps it's your word choice.*
*

Perhaps. I'm not a politician, nor in the public sphere, so I wouldn't expect my words and actions to be scrutinised though.

So now she started a party, now is it fine to bully her where she cannot respond?

But before it wasn't ok, as she didn't have a political party so you are good to condemn the people for constantly banging on and on about her?

I'm not angry just direct. I don't like to waste words. I certainly don't start threads about one person and post things like 'Look at her, she's a thingy now'. Because I left school in the 1980s.

Cassie definitely didn't want to keep talking about eugenics, no. That's why Cassie brought it up and then said they weren't going to talk about it and then continued to talk about it. Totally something that someone who didn't want to talk about it would do and keep doing.

The pp doesn’t sound ‘angry’

Direct maybe against the Twitter scrutiny

This would be why the pp said you were angry.

ThreeWordHarpy · 03/06/2024 09:39

Saying you sound angry is one of the most common tactics of controlling, abusive men towards assertive women who stand up for themselves. Do you think we can’t see you?

EasternStandard · 03/06/2024 09:40

😂
That is true. It is also true that some women can be angry and unpleasant.

EasternStandard · 03/06/2024 09:46

Unpleasant..

Yes for some not @AlisonDonut there though

I've been called all sorts of names since I learned to stand up for myself in the 1980s. I used to work on construction sites and being the only female on a road building site, having to be the one who approves the concrete being placed at 7am in front of 20 odd men in their 20s to 50s, I've been called everything under the sun. This is nothing!

NefertitiV · 03/06/2024 09:51

@AlisonDonut

It isn't bullying. Bullying describes relationships with an intrinsic imbalance of power. There is neither here: no relationship, no power.

Discussion of parties and individual politicians occurs all the time. This is how democracy works - remember free speech? You just don't like that this thread is about KJK.

It costs nothing to be polite.

When you ignore the two avenues to directly address a person, and their claims, and continue to post about them where they cannot respond, that is bullying.

Do you condemn all the posters who slagged her off on here prior to the start of her political party or not?

I didn't abuse you, or call you names. I merely said you sound angry - and you do. I'm glad you're able to stand up for yourself, though, in tough environments like that. I also used to work in blue-collar sites and you definitely toughen up.

The difference here is that I'd stand up to them to their faces.

Not slag them off where they cannot respond.

Maybe try it some time.

I'm not giving her content to drive her clicks, thanks.

Nothing stopping her responding on X, she seems to be able to respond to lots of other stuff on there. I'm happy for her to respond to things raised on this thread without directly conversing.

I’m sure. I think a bit of self reflection from pp wouldn’t go amiss
